Pixel 11 Pro Fold Display and Design
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold features a book-style foldable design with an 8-inch inner Super Actua Flex OLED display and a 6.5-inch outer OLED cover display.
The inner display has a resolution of 2,076 x 2,152 pixels, while the outer display offers a 1,080 x 2,342-pixel resolution. Both screens support refresh rates of up to 120Hz, with the inner panel supporting an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz.
Both displays can reach up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness, giving the foldable a significant display brightness upgrade.
The inner screen uses an ultra-thin glass layer, while the outer display is protected by durable ceramic cover glass.
Google has also reduced the physical dimensions of the foldable. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold measures 10.1mm when folded and just 5.0mm when unfolded, with a weight of approximately 239 grams.
The device also carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Tensor G6 Processor and Android 17
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is powered by Google’s new Tensor G6 processor, paired with the Titan M3 security coprocessor.
The smartphone comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, giving users a high-end hardware configuration aimed at demanding multitasking and AI workloads.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold runs Android 17 out of the box and integrates Google’s latest Gemini-powered software features. Google is promising seven years of OS updates, security updates and Pixel Feature Drops.
The new Gemini Intelligence system is designed to make Google’s AI features more proactive, with capabilities that can interact with information and applications across the phone.
New HiLight Feature on Pixel 11 Pro Fold
One of the more distinctive additions to the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is HiLight, a new hardware-based notification feature.
HiLight uses an ambient LED array positioned around the camera area to provide visual cues for notifications and other interactions. This allows users to receive certain alerts without immediately turning on or opening the main display.
Google is also integrating the feature with its broader Gemini-powered experiences, making it one of the more noticeable hardware and software additions to the Pixel 11 series.

Pixel 11 Pro Fold: What’s New?
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is not a complete redesign, but Google has made several targeted improvements to its premium foldable.
Thinner and lighter design
At 10.1mm when folded and 239 grams, the new model is thinner and lighter than the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
Brighter displays
Both the inner and outer screens now offer peak brightness of up to 3,600 nits, improving outdoor visibility.
Tensor G6 upgrade
The new Tensor G6 processor replaces the Tensor G5 and is paired with the Titan M3 security chip.
New HiLight hardware
The HiLight LED feature adds a new way to receive visual notifications and interact with Google’s AI experiences without constantly checking the display.
Faster wireless charging
Qi2.2-certified PixelSnap wireless charging supports up to 25W, providing a faster wireless charging option than the previous generation.
Longer software support
Seven years of OS, security and Pixel Feature Drop updates give the Pixel 11 Pro Fold a longer software lifecycle.
Is the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold Worth Buying?
At Rs. 1,86,999, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is aimed firmly at buyers looking for a premium foldable experience rather than mainstream value.
Its biggest advantages include the large 8-inch inner display, brighter 6.5-inch cover screen, Tensor G6 processor, 16GB RAM, upgraded AI capabilities, 30W wired charging, 25W Qi2.2 wireless charging and IP68 protection.
The thinner 239-gram design also makes the Pixel 11 Pro Fold more practical than its predecessor for users who regularly carry a foldable smartphone.
However, the high price means the device faces strong competition from other premium foldables. Buyers considering the Pixel 11 Pro Fold should therefore weigh Google’s software and AI ecosystem against the hardware and pricing offered by competing flagship foldables.
