According to a second report by renowned data analytics firm, multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) title Honor of Kings was the highest-grossing game for October and was placed ahead of PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, and Genshin Impact. Free Fire has the most downloads in India, accounting for 30 percent of the game’s total downloads.

Sensor Tower, a popular battle royale game, garnered 34 million installs in October, reports Garena Free Fire. Of these, 30 percent of downloads were from India, while 12 percent were from Brazil. Free Fire currently has over a billion downloads on the Play Store and currently tops the list of ‘Top Grossing’ games in India. On the App Store, however, League of Legends: Wild Rift was the most downloaded app, while Free Fire was at number one.
According to the report, PUBG Mobile was at number eight on the list of most downloaded games in October. Other games that made it to the list were Candy Challenge 3D, Roblox, Subway Surfers, and Candy Crush Saga. Netflix’s popular TV series Squid Game helped games like Candy Challenge 3D, Cookie Carver, and 456 make it to the top 10 downloaded games of the month.
According to a second report by Sensor Tower, Honor of Kings was the highest-grossing mobile game worldwide in October. According to the report, the game earned $329 million (approximately Rs 2,445 crore) while Tencent’s PUBG Mobile raked in $197 million (approximately Rs 1,465 crore). 51 percent of PUBG Mobile’s earnings were from China, where the game is published under a different title – Game for Peace. Other games that made it to the list of highest grossing games were Candy Crush Saga, Free Fire, League of Legends: Wild Rift.
India continued to top the market in October in global game downloads with 762.6 million installs. These downloads from India made up 16.8 percent of the 4.5 billion downloads of the worldwide mobile games market in October. The US was in second place with 8.6 percent of total downloads, followed by Brazil with 8.3 percent.
