    BSNL Launches STV 2399 Prepaid Plan With 600 days Validity

    BSNL’s Rs. 2,399 pre-paid plan reportedly charges Rs. 1 per minute for local and Rs. 1.3 per minute for STD calls after the FUP limit is reached.

    Public sector company BSNL has launched another long validity prepaid plan for its users. 600 days validity is being offered to users in this prepaid plan. This is the longest validity prepaid plan ever. Apart from BSNL, other telecom operators are offering prepaid plans with a maximum validity of 365 days to Airtel, Vodafone, and Jio users. In this prepaid plan, users can avail unlimited voice calling on any network. Also, users are being offered a free callback tone for 60 days. However, in this prepaid plan of BSNL, no data is being offered to the users.

    BSNL’s Rs 2,399 Prepaid Plan

    Like other telecom companies, BSNL has launched this prepaid plan at a price of Rs 2,399. In this prepaid plan, unlimited voice calling is being offered to users. However, the company has imposed a daily call limit in this. Users cannot talk more than 250 free minutes in a day. Apart from this, 100 free SMS is being offered daily to users in this prepaid plan. The company is not offering any kind of free data in its prepaid plan. In this, free ringback tones are also being offered to users for 60 days.

    As mentioned earlier, there are no data benefits with the Rs. 2,399 plan and as per the report by BSNL, every MB used will cost 25 paise. This means customers will have to get separate and additional data recharges with this plan. Once the FUP limit for calls has been crossed, you have to pay normal call rates of Rs. 1 per minute for local calls and Rs. 1.3 per minute for STD calls. Additionally, this plan is said to come with free BSNL Tunes (caller tune) for the first 60 days from activation, after which, the charges are Rs. 42 per month. All other terms and conditions for this plan are on the “per minute plan” basis.

    Even before this, the company has launched its Rs 699 prepaid plan. In this prepaid plan, users are being offered validity of 180 days. In this prepaid plan, 20 days of additional validity is being offered to users. Regular prepaid validity of 160 days is given in this prepaid plan. Talking about the benefits found in it, in this, 250 free minutes are offered to users to call on any network. Also, 100 SMS and 500MB of data are being solicited daily to the users. In this, users are being offered a free ringback tone for 60 days.
