BSNL vendors can now pay for services without visiting the telco’s office.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched Bharat InstaPay, a digital payment platform with State Bank of India (SBI). India will be able to make the necessary payments without going to the office of the BSNL partner company through InstaPay, although online verification will have to be done once for this. BSNL has launched the portal of Bharat Instapay. For payment on BSNL’s Bharat Instapay platform, channel partners will get a special code which will be its ID.

The objective of BSNL regarding its payment platform is to make the partner’s work easier. Partners will be able to make timely payments through Bharat Inscape. In such a situation, his time will not be spent on going to the office. At its launch, director Vivek Banjal said that the company is continuously working to facilitate its business partner.

Vendors working with BSNL had no option but to visit the telco’s offices to pay for telecom services offered by the telecom company. The whole process used to get further delayed due to non-working days. However, the platform will now help channel partners of BSNL pay bills online. This will help them save time as they don’t need to come to BSNL offices for any paperwork. Purwar said that the platform will help to increase the credibility of the company towards partners and will also increase their growth pace.

To register, channel partners of BSNL will have to complete a one-time online verification process on the Bharat Instapay Portal.

In August 2017, BSNL had ventured into the digital payments space by launching a mobile wallet which was developed by Gurugram-based fintech company MobiKwik. BSNL users can make bill payments and transact on e-commerce platforms using the mobile wallet.

Having said this, BSNL has recently introduced a new plan for its pre-paid users. In this new plan of BSNL, customers will get 3 GB data every day and the validity of this plan is 30 days. This new pre-paid BSNL is an unlimited combo plan.

The price of this plan of BSNL is Rs 247. This plan will get 30 days of validity. Apart from this, 3 GB data will be available daily in this plan. This plan also has unlimited calling facility on all networks, but 250 minutes of calling per day can be done. There is also a facility to send 100 messages daily in this plan.

Apart from introducing a new plan of Rs 247, BSNL has also updated the pre-paid plan of Rs 998 and Rs 1,999. After the update, the plan of Rs 998 is now getting a validity of 270 days, while the Rs 1,999 plan is getting a subscription of Eros Now for two months.
