The telco is still offering the same benefit as the existing such as highspeed daily data of 2GB. The validity of the prepaid plan is 365 days.
Notably, it is not a big hike, it is also worth noting that the telco has been reducing the benefits of its multiple prepaid plans. In the recent past, BSNL has also launched Rs 99, Rs 118, and Rs 319 Prepaid plans. And the telco has also reduced the benefits of Rs 999 and Rs 1499 prepaid plans. Let’s take a look at the old and new benefits of BSNL.
BSNL Rs 999 Plan Old vs New Benefits
Earlier, the Rs 999 prepaid plan used to come with a validity of 240 days, with unlimited voice calling to local and national numbers, and the company was also offering free BSNL Tunes service (PRBT) for two months. There are no SMS or data benefits bundled with this plan. With the recent changes by BSNL, with effect from July 01, 2022, the Rs 999 prepaid plan will come with a validity of 200 days, which means the telco has reduced the validity by 40 days. The cost per day which was earlier at Rs 4.16 per day has now become Rs 5 per day.
BSNL Rs 1499 Plan Old vs New Benefits
Earlier, the Rs 1499 prepaid plan used to come with a validity of 365 days, which offers unlimited voice calling to local and national numbers, 100 SMS/day, and 24GB of cumulative mobile internet data. With the recent changes by BSNL, with effect from July 01, 2022, the Rs 1499 prepaid plan will come with a validity of 336 days, which means the telco has reduced the validity by 29 days.
