BSNL 4G free SIM offer was first introduced in April this year and was upto end in June. However, as of now this offer is available in Kerala circle and may be extended to other telecom circles as well.
BSNL Free 4G Sim offer: Government-owned telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has today offered a free 4G SIM offer to its customers from July 1, 2021, to September 30, 2021. This is not the first time that BSNL has made such an offer as it has also launched it several times. The company wants to woo new customers and increase their number under this offer.
This offer was first introduced in April this year. and was to end in June. However, as of now, this offer is available in the Kerala circle and may be extended to other telecom circles as well.
BSNL offering Free 4G SIM Card
Only new BSNL users as well as MNP port-in customers can avail of the free 4G SIM offer. The cost of a 4G SIM card of BSNL is Rs 20 which will be waived for new users. However, this will be applicable only to customers availing First Recharge Coupon (FRC) above Rs.100. BSNL users can avail of the SIM from the customer service center or the nearest BSNL retailer shop.
How to get 4G SIM of BSNL?
To get BSNL free SIM, customers need to submit the necessary documents like POI (Proof of Identity) and POA (Proof of Address) to their nearest BSNL Customer Service Center (BSNL CSC) or nearest BSNL Retailer Shop. Please note that this offer is available only in the BSNL Kerala Telecom circle.
According to an official statement from BSNL, the company has been offering new connections from 1 July 2021 and free 4G SIM till 30 September 2021 to MNP customers to increase the user base and revenue, meet the monthly SIM sales target. Earlier, the company had kept the last date of this offer as 30 June 2021.
BSNL is giving a discount of Rs 600 to landline customers
BSNL, as part of a promotional discount offer, is also offering a discount of Rs 600 to its landline customers who want to migrate to Bharat Fiber to the Home (FTTH) connection. Existing BSNL landline customers across all telecom circles can upgrade to BSNL Bharat Fiber (FTTH) to avail of the new discount scheme. BSNL also allows customers to retain their existing landline numbers while migrating to (FTTH). However, this facility is available only in select exchange states where the next generation telephone devices have been installed.
