BSNL has provided validity extension to its prepaid users till 5 May 2020 and Jio till 3 May.
After telecom companies, Airtel and Vodafone-Idea, now state-owned telecom BSNL and Reliance Jio have also announced to increase the validity of prepaid plans in this lockdown. Where BSNL has provided the validity extension till 5 May 2020 to its prepaid users. Along with this, BSNL has also started a recharge helpline number. At the same time, Jio has offered extended validity till 3 May.
BSNL Prepaid Validity Extended Till 5 May
The company says that the validity of the plans of users whose account is being completed at the time of lockdown and balance is zero, is being extended till 5 May 2020. This will enable users to receive incoming calls. Also, a helpline number has also been issued. This is a toll-free helpline number. Through this, users will be able to recharge their number easily. They have to call 5670099. With this, users will be able to recharge the pre-paid number right from home. This method will prove to be better for those users who are not able to recharge their number digitally.
Having said this, the number is currently available in the North and West zones. But from April 22, it will also become active in the South and East zones. After calling this number you will get two services, first of which is sitting at home and second is recharge with the help of loved ones. Recharge users can request recharge at home. At the same time, with the help of loved ones, users can recharge from their friends or family members to recharge their number.
Reliance Jio Prepaid Validity Extended Till 3 May
Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Jio has extended the validity of its prepaid plans till 3 May. The company has said that the incoming calls of users who are unable to recharge themselves in lockdown will continue. It also said that many mobile recharge outlets will start opening on April 20. At the same time, users can also earn a 4 percent commission by recharging their friends or other people through JioPos Lite.
