BSNL has reintroduced the Rs 186 prepaid voucher and the Rs 187 STV in the Chennai and Tamil Nadu circle

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), has been pretty active on its prepaid portfolio, making constant changes to its plans, introducing new STVs, new prepaid vouchers and more. BSNL is doing this to keep the prepaid subscribers engaged on its network while also working in the direction of BSNL 4G network as well. With this, it is also launching new attractive offers and benefits for the customers and this revised STVs and PVs come with better benefits, are oriented more towards data users.

It is worth noting that a while back, BSNL had withdrawn the prepaid voucher of Rs 186. However, in a new move, the state-led telecom operator has announced that it will be reintroducing the Rs 86 prepaid voucher for its subscribers. Not only this, but the telco is also launching the STV 187. Here are all the details about these two plans, the STV 187 and the PV 186.

BSNL STV 187 Benefits and Other Details

Firstly, we are going to be talking about the launch of STV 187. The STV 187 comes with 28 days validity, and in this time period, it will offer 250 minutes of local, STD and roaming calls which would include calls to Mumbai and Delhi circle as well. There will also be unlimited data with speed being throttled down to 40 Kbps after 2GB data per day. This will be in addition to the 100SMS per day which BSNL is providing as part of this plan. Additionally, there will be free PRBT for the users of this plan.

Further, the subscribers of this STV will also be able to enjoy the Bumper Offer, which will extend the daily data limit of this plan to 4.2GB, by offering additional 2.2GB of data.

It is worth noting that across a lot of its prepaid plans and STVs, BSNL has capped the limit of daily calling at 250 minutes. Although the limit is pretty generous, it has been seen a step back by some subscribers, as no other telecom operator has a daily calling cap. Currently, this rollout of the STV and PVs has happened in the Chennai and Tamil Nadu.

BSNL Rs 186 Prepaid Voucher Benefits and Other Details

The next plan that BSNL has announced is the prepaid voucher 186. The PV 186 is going to offer very similar benefits as the STV 187, except for a few small changes and the fact that this is a prepaid voucher. While the data benefits of 2GB data per day with an after FUP speed of 40 Kbps and the 100 SMS daily SMS benefit remain the same as the above mentioned STV, the prepaid voucher will actually come with a base tariff charge which will be deducted from the user’s account on the basis of the “per minute plan.”

The plan or recharge validity of this prepaid voucher is also same as above, i.e. 28 days, but the tariff validity of this prepaid voucher will be 180 days. This plan will also enjoy the benefits of the Bumper Offer, which will extend the daily data limit to 4.2GB by shipping 2.2GB extra data to the subscribers. It is worth noting that the Bumper Offer on both the STV and the prepaid voucher will be valid until October 1, 2019.
