Bharti Airtel Added Highest Subscribers in Last 9 Months

Airtel has significantly increased its wireless subscriber base from 355,294,534 in November 2021 to 367,608,695 in December 2022, a testament to the company’s efforts in implementing tariff hikes, announcing 5G Plus services, and introducing new product offerings and bundles.

Bharti Airtel, one of India’s largest telecommunications providers, has announced a significant increase in its subscriber base for the quarter ending December 31, 2022. The company reported adding 9.8 million subscribers during the period, bringing its total subscriber base to 370 million.

This substantial growth in subscribers can be attributed to the company’s focus on expanding its network infrastructure and offering innovative services to its customers. Bharti Airtel has been investing heavily in its 4G network to improve coverage and speed, and has also launched new services such as Airtel Xstream and Airtel Thanks to provide a more comprehensive customer experience.

Gopal Vittal, CEO of Bharti Airtel, expressed his satisfaction with the company’s performance in a statement, saying, “We are pleased to report strong subscriber additions during the quarter, which reflects the increasing trust and confidence that customers have in our network and services. We remain committed to expanding our network capabilities and providing the best possible experience to our customers.”

Bharti Airtel’s focus on customer satisfaction and network expansion has resulted in an increase in revenue as well. The company reported revenue growth of 11.3% for the quarter ending December 31, 2022, compared to the same period last year. This growth can be attributed to an increased usage of data services by customers, as well as the launch of new products and services.

The telecommunications industry in India has been highly competitive, with several players vying for market share. Bharti Airtel’s performance in adding subscribers and growing revenue is a testament to its focus on providing the best possible experience to customers.

As Bharti Airtel continues to expand its network capabilities and offers new services, it is poised for continued growth in the telecommunications market. With its strong brand reputation and focus on customer satisfaction, the company is well-positioned to continue its success in the future.
