The Battlegrounds Mobile India game has been pre-registered more than 20 million times on the Google Play Store. The company announced the pre-registration of the game on May 18. On the opening day of the game, there were 76 lakh pre-registrations. At the same time, more than 2 crore pre-registrations have been received in two weeks.
Battlegrounds Mobile India, the Indian version of PUBG Mobile, has crossed 20 million pre-registrations in the country in just over two weeks. The game went up for pre-registrations for Android users on May 18 after being announced early last month. Battlegrounds Mobile India is the Indian avatar of PUBG Mobile that was banned in the country back in September last year along with 117 other apps. The game is essentially the same as PUBG Mobile but with some tweaks made for the Indian audience.
Krafton, the South Korean developer, has announced through a press release that Battlegrounds Mobile India has crossed 20 million pre-registrations in India. The game was announced in the first week of May and then on May 18, pre-registrations started for Android users via the Google Play store. On the first day, the developer says it received 7.6 million pre-registrations. Now, just over two weeks later, Battlegrounds Mobile India has garnered over 12.4 million more.
Pre-registrations bring India-specific rewards that can be claimed when the game officially launches. These include a Recon Outfit, Recon Mask, in-game currency, and more. Those who have pre-registered for Battlegrounds Mobile India will have the game downloaded automatically when it launches, if they have the feature turned on in Google Play.

Battlegrounds India Expected Launch Date
Battlegrounds Mobile India can be launched in India on 18 June 2021. At the same time, in some media reports, the launch of the game is being told on June 10, 2021. Ahead of the launch date of the game, the teaser of the Battlegrounds Mobile India game has been released so far, in which the PUBGB Mobile game has been introduced with a new name. It shows a level three bag, which looks like the bag found in PUBG Mobile.
This is the biggest backpack that players can get in any game mode. It has already been confirmed by the company that this game will not be played in a smartphone with less than 2GB of RAM. Also, this game will support Android version 5.1.1 and above.
Notably, last year the central government banned PUBG Mobile from playing in India citing security reasons. Since then, there have been several attempts to launch the PUBG Mobile game in India. In such a situation, the launch of Battlegrounds India is expected once again. But there is constant suspense regarding the launch date.
