Apple Time Flies Event Scheduled on September 15: New Gadgets, iPhone 12 Expected

Apple Time Flies September 15 event is thought to be for the new Apple Watch and iPad Air model, with an iPhone 12 launch expected in October.

Apple has sent out invites for an event on September 15 titled Time Flies, and the name hints at an Apple Watch and iPad Air launch, models that had been tipped in the recent past to launch this week. September is usually when the company is expected to launch its next iPhone series – though the iPhone 12 series this year is expected to be delayed.

The iPhone 12 series smartphone model can be introduced in Apple’s event this time. However, several reports have suggested the possibility of delay in launching of the iPhone 12. Please tell that due to problems of Covid-19 and supply chain, the iPhone 12 series is reported to be launched by October. However, the launch of the Apple Watch Series 6 and the new iPad Air models is expected especially at the September 15 Apple event.

To recall, Apple had at its last earnings results announced there would be a few week’s delays to the release of its new iPhone models this year, thanks to supply chain issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Apple typically launches new iPhone models in September and releases them later the same month. An October launch is now expected for the new iPhone series, while recent leaks tipped the September launch of new iPad Air and Apple Watch models, in fact, they were expected to launch sometime today.

Apple’s new Watch Series 6 can be introduced with enhanced oxygen saturation monitoring technology or SpO2 tracking. Features like sleep tracking can be given in watchOS 7. Also, Watch Series 6 can be offered with an upgraded processor and improved battery life. If the iPhone 12 series is announced in Apple Time Flies event, then four models can be introduced under this series. This will include 5.4-inch iPhone 12, 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Max, 6.1-inch iPhone 12 pro, and 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max. Apart from Apple iPhone 12, AirTags, Home pod, and Apple TV streaming box can be announced in online events.

Lastly, Apple has promised that we’ll see the first fruits of its ARM-powered Apple silicon Macs before the end of the year, too, although the rumor mill has been quiet thus far on actual details.
