Twitter Fleets feature has already been launched for users in Brazil and Italy. India has become the third country to use this new style of communication on Twitter.

Twitter India has launched a new Fleets feature for Indian users. Through this feature, users will be able to communicate with their followers in a new way. This feature has already launched for users in Brazil and Italy. India has become the third country to use this new style of communication on Twitter. Like other social media platforms, photos or other messages posted through Fleets will only be available for 24 hours. After 24 hours, they will automatically disappear from the profile. The special feature of the Fleets features is that no retweet, likes, and comments can be made on the information shared by it.

The Twitter Fleets feature is currently rolled out as testing. It is currently rolled out only for Android and iOS users. Another special feature of the Fleets feature is that if someone follows you, your Fleet will always be at the top of your follower’s timeline. Because of which your followers will not be able to miss your important information. By clicking at the bottom of the post made through Fleet, you will be able to find out which of your followers or non-followers have seen your Fleet.

    Step by Step Guide

    • To use the Twitter User Fleets feature, first tap on the avatar on the left side of your user profile.
    • After this, users can add any photo, video, or GIF image to their Fleet.
    • If you want to see another user’s Fleets, tap on that user’s avatar.
    • After this, you will see the latest Fleet posted by that user.
    • If you want to see the old Fleets of that user, then you can swipe left or right.

Through Twitter Fleet, you can connect directly with your followers. For this, the direct message button will remain open, on which you can give your reactions by tapping or clicking. Twitter Fleets are ephemeral, which means they expire after a given time. This is 24 hours in the case of Twitter Fleets. This means, if you post a Twitter Fleet, it will disappear from the platform after 24 hours. Nobody, not even your followers, can like, repost or comment on your Twitter Fleet. Twitter still gives you the option to respond to a Twitter Fleet, just in case, in the form of both text and emojis but only in Direct Messaging.

Twitter group product manager Mo. launching this service. Al Adam said, “Twitter is where people go to pick up and talk. We want people to interact in different ways on Twitter with less pressure and more control. So we are testing a new way of sharing their Fleeting ideas. Since the trial of Fleets in Brazil, Twitter has noticed that people are now more comfortable sharing their ideas. People who don’t usually tweet are also starting the dialogue and doing both Fleets and Tweets. When people send a Fleet, they often rapidly share many ideas. “

Manish Maheshwari, MD, Twitter India stated, “India is important to Twitter as it is one of our largest and fastest-growing audience markets globally. We are excited to bring the use of Fleets to India and make it one of the first three countries in the world to experience this new product. From testing in India, we will learn that adding a new way of communication changes the way Indians connect on Twitter. It will also be interesting to see if it can become of many use by allowing people to share whatever is going on in their minds in a light-hearted way. ”

LinkedIn is also slowly rolling out its own take on Stories in the same way, with LinkedIn Stories now available to users in Brazil and the Netherlands. So you could soon have an influx of Stories across your various social media feeds – which, according to usage stats, is what people increasingly want. But the combined introduction of new Stories options could have a significant impact on consumption habits, very quickly.
