    Reliance JioFiber Slips To Fifth Position On Netflix ISP Index, Airtel Now Providing Better Broadband Speed

    Reliance JioFiber used to rank four on the Netflix ISP Index until now, but it has now been replaced by ACT Fibernet

    Reliance JioFiber has known to be a family title within the nation. The telecom arm of billionaire Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries, which commercially rolled out its “fiber-to-the-home” service JioFiber on September 5, is offering internet speeds to the tune of 100 Mbps-1 Gbps in six monthly plans, according to a company statement. Reliance Jio Infocomm has priced the monthly plans for its optical fiber-based broadband service JioFiber between Rs. 699 and Rs. 8,499. Although some subscribers continuing the preview offer of Reliance JioFiber till now. The actual user experience has been unenthusiastic from the Best ISP provider.

    7 Star Digital & Spectra

    7 Star Digital (Mumbai ISP Operator) leading the first spot with an average internet speed of 3.46 Mbps, the average internet speed has been increased from 3.32 Mbps in August 2019, which means the ISP Ranking has also increased from the second position to First. At the same time, Spectra who was leading ISP in August 2019 with an average speed of 3.33 Mbps has increased the internet speed to 3.43 Mbps but it was not enough to retain the top speed.

    Bharti Airtel

    Bharti Airtel, which ranks on the third spot on the Netflix ISP Index, did not witness any change in positions, but it has a slight improvement in speed. Bharti Airtel, which was previously providing 3.21 Mbps, now also ranked on the third spot with 3.37 Mbps.

    Act Fiber

    In a one month period (August to September), ACT Fibernet has increased its internet speed from 3.13 Mbps to 3.30 Mbps. This month Act Fibernet was able to outrank India’s family title ISP Operator Reliance JioFiber on the Netflix ISP Speed Index.

    Business Tycoon, Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance JioFiber service has slipped a spot down to the fifth rank, from its previous rank of the fourth position. Although JioFiber has improved the speed from 3.17 Mbps to 3.23 Mbps in the period between August and September, the position and the ranking Reliance JioFiber was overtaken by ATRIA Convergence Technologies formally known as “ACT Fibernet”

    You Broadband, Hathway & BSNL

    You Broadband and Hathway also ranked on the sixth and seventh spots respectively. The state-led broadband service provider, BSNL also climbed up a rank to the 14th spot and witnessed an improvement in speed as it provided 2.17 Mbps speed as opposed to 1.99 Mbps previously.
