India’s leading telecom company Reliance Jio has launched new Jio fiber postpaid plans. The starting price of these postpaid plans is Rs 399. Users will get the router for free with the new plans. Subscribers will also not have to pay installation charges. And, users will get the benefit of free installation and router when they buy a plan of at least 6 months validity. At the same time, the company believes that this will benefit the users a lot and will also save up to Rs 1500.
Those opting for the postpaid option will not have to incur the security deposit and installation charges for the new connection. Additionally, the 4K set-top box will also be provided at no extra cost to new users. The ISP is offering an option to pay the Fiber bill annually and half-yearly. Jio has a total of seven Jio Fiber plans on offer in India as listed below.
- Rs 399 Jio Fiber broadband plan: Offering 30Mbps, unlimited data, unlimited voice calls
- Rs 699 Jio Fiber broadband plan: Offering 100Mbps, unlimited data, unlimited voice calls
- Rs 999 Jio Fiber broadband plan: Offering 150Mbps, unlimited data, unlimited voice calls, 14 OTT apps subscriptions worth Rs 1,000/per month
- Rs 1,499 Jio Fiber broadband plan: Offering 300Mbps, unlimited data, unlimited voice calls, 15 OTT apps subscriptions worth Rs 1,500/per month
- Rs 2,499 Jio Fiber broadband plan: Offering 500Mbps, unlimited data, unlimited voice calls, 15 OTT apps subscriptions worth Rs 1,500/per month
- Rs 3,999 Jio Fiber broadband plan: Offering 1Gbps, unlimited data, unlimited voice calls, 15 OTT apps subscriptions worth Rs 1,500/per month
- Rs 8,499 Jio Fiber broadband plan: Offering 1Gbps, unlimited data, unlimited voice calls, 15 OTT apps subscriptions worth Rs 1,500/per month
Free OTT Subscription on Jio Fiber
Consumers will get access to 14 OTT apps like Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar VIP, Sony Liv, Zee5, Sun NXT, Voot Select, Voot Kids, ALTBalaji, Hoichoi, ShemarooMe, Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, Eros Now, JioCinema and JioSaavn on Jio’s Rs 999 postpaid Fiber connection. Apart from this, a subscription of 15 OTT apps including Netflix will be given with the plan of Rs 1,499. However, customers will have to first pay a security deposit of Rs 1000.
Reliance Jio lockdown offer
Let us tell you that Jio introduced a lockdown offer for its customers in March. Under this offer, JioPhone customers were given 300 minutes of free outgoing calling facility. The company believes that people had benefited a lot from this offer. Apart from this, the company had announced to give customers an additional plan for free on every recharge of JioPhone during the lockdown. For example, if JioPhone users used to recharge a plan of Rs 75, then they would get another plan of Rs 75.
