Vivo Y51A has launched in India as the latest smartphone offering from the company. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC. It packs a large 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. There’s also a triple camera setup at the back of the Vivo Y51A with the sensors placed in a triangle form and a 48-megapixel primary sensor integrated. The Vivo Y51A seems to be an offshoot of the Vivo Y51 (5,000mAh) launched last month in the country.

Vivo jas set the price of the newly launched Y51A in India at Rs. 17,990 for the lone 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The phone comes in Titanium Sapphire and Crystal Symphony color options. The Vivo Y51A is available for purchase on Vivo India e-store, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, TataCliq, and across all partner retail stores.
Launch offers for the Vivo Y51A include Rs. 1,000 cashback from HDFC Bank, benefits from Vi, and zero down payment schemes from Bajaj Finserv, Home Credit, IDFC First Bank, HDB Credit, and ICICI Bank.

Vivo Y51A sports a 6.58-inch FHD+ Halo FullView display with a waterdrop notch, 60Hz refresh rate, and 1,080 x 2,408 Pixels resolution. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 1TB via a dedicated microSD card. To recall, the Vivo Y51 offers the Snapdragon 665 SoC. The phone runs on Android 11-based Funtouch 11 custom skin on top. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, and USB Type-C for charging and data sync.
As for the cameras, the Vivo Y51 has a triple rear camera setup at the back comprising of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens. The rear cameras offer electronic image stabilization (EIS), super night camera, portrait mode, panorama, live photo, slo-mo, time-lapse, and Pro mode. There is a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video calling and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The device houses a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. The Vivo Y51A measures 163.86×75.32×8.38mm and weighs 188 grams.
