According to officials, the proposal to install 4G telecom towers at the paramilitary manned outposts is nearing its final stage of discussion. They further stated that the plan is currently being fine-tuned by the telecom department and home ministry before being presented to the cabinet for approval.

In a major development, the government has announced plans to provide 4G connectivity to over 1,000 border outposts in the country. The move is expected to enhance the communication infrastructure in these remote areas and help the security forces in their operations.

According to reports, the Ministry of Home Affairs has already identified the border outposts that will be covered under this scheme. The implementation of this project is expected to be completed in a phased manner, with the first phase covering around 500 border outposts.

The decision to provide 4G connectivity to these border outposts is part of the government’s larger strategy to strengthen the country’s border security. The improved communication infrastructure will enable the security forces to communicate more effectively and respond to any situation in a timely manner.

Apart from enhancing security, this move is also expected to have a positive impact on the lives of the people living in these remote areas. The availability of 4G connectivity will enable them to access various services, including healthcare, education, and e-commerce, among others.

The government’s decision has been welcomed by various stakeholders, including the security forces, local administrations, and the people living in these border areas. It is seen as a major step towards addressing the infrastructural challenges faced by these areas, and improving the overall quality of life of the people.

The implementation of this project is expected to be completed by the end of the year. The government has also indicated that it will continue to invest in improving the communication infrastructure in other remote areas of the country in the coming years.

In conclusion, the government’s decision to provide 4G connectivity to over 1,000 border outposts in the country is a welcome move that will have far-reaching implications. It will not only enhance the security of these areas but also improve the overall quality of life of the people living there. The implementation of this project is eagerly awaited and is expected to bring positive change to these remote areas.
