The picture of the retail box of Redmi K40 has been leaked. Different boxes can be seen in this picture. The first one is thick and the second is a thin box. Looking at the thin box, it is being speculated that Redmi 40 will come without a charger.
Smartphone maker Xiaomi is preparing to launch its new handset Redmi K40. Many important details of this leading smartphone have been revealed. Now the picture of Redmi’s 40’s retail box has been leaked.
Ahead of its launch, details about the phone have started coming in thick and fast with leaked images of the device’s retail packaging appearing on the web. The leaked image reveals the size of the packaging, and hints that the phone may not come with a charger in the box — a strategy the company has already tried with the Mi 11.
According to an online report, two different retail boxes of the upcoming Redmi K40 can be seen in the leaked photos. The only difference is the size of the two. One retail box is slightly thicker, while the other is slightly thinner. In such a situation, it is being speculated that the charger will not be present in the thin box. However, this has not yet been confirmed by the company.
According to the reports revealed so far, Xiaomi will give a punch-hole AMOLED display in its upcoming smartphone Redmi 40. Along with this, users can get the latest Snapdragon 888 processor in future handsets. Apart from this, not much information has been received.
Expected Price of Redmi K40
According to Leaks, the Redmi K40 smartphone can be launched next month. At the same time, its price can be kept between Rs 33,000 and 40,000. At the moment, no information has been received about the official launch, price or feature of this upcoming smartphone.
Having said this, when Apple launched the iPhone 12 without a charger last year, Xiaomi made fun of Apple. But after some time, the company followed the path of Apple and introduced the Mi 11 in China without a charger. Talking about the Mi 11, its initial price is 3,999 Chinese yuan (about 45,019 rupees). The Mi 11 smartphone has a 6.81-inch quad-curved OLED display.
Its resolution will be 2K. The phone has a peak brightness of 1500 nits. The refresh rate of the phone is 120Hz, while the touch sampling rate is 480Hz. Corning Gorilla Victus has been used for screen protection in the phone. The latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC chipset has been used in the phone. The phone has a 4,600mAh battery.
While the Mi 11 was launched as a premium offering, the Redmi K40 will be launched at an affordable price point. The launch of the phone has already been confirmed for February. In the past, leaks have claimed that the Redmi K40 Pro will bring with itself a selfie camera housed inside a punch-hole at its upper-left corner. Previous leaks have also claimed that the K40 Pro will flaunt an OLED panel with a slim punch-hole which could be 3.7mm in size. The battery backing the phone could reportedly be a 45000mAh pack.
For now, there’s little else known about the Redmi K40 Pro. However, we expect more details about the device to emerge in the days to come. Especially, as the device is now confirmed and barely weeks away from a commercial launch.
