    Xiaomi Global Launch Event to be Live on September 15

    Xiaomi is set to host a global launch event on September 15. The company can unveil Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro in its upcoming event. According to the new promo, the Mi 11T Pro can come with 120W HyperCharge.

    Xiaomi is set to host a global launch event on September 15 and while the smartphone maker is yet to announce the products that will be launched at the event. However, according to some reports, it is believed that the company can unveil Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro at its upcoming event. Now, the company has also shared a promo video that hints at the Mi 11T Pro coming with 120W HyperCharge, somewhat confirming that the device will be unveiled on a scheduled date.

    Xiaomi Global Launch Xiaomi 11T Pro

    The event is scheduled for September 15 at 8 pm GMT+ 8 (IST). The 11T series is expected to arrive in two models – Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro. The teaser video leak suggests that the 11T Pro may come with 120W HyperCharge support. Xiaomi officially teased the new ‘flagship device’ and ‘hyper’ fast charging technology at its global product launch on September 15, but it hasn’t revealed the model name or much information about fast charging support.

    Expected Specifications of Xiaomi 11T Series

    Both the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro smartphones are expected to feature major improvements over the Mi 11 series smartphones that were launched earlier this year. Both the devices are expected to feature OLED panels that support FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120W. They could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC which has been the best option for most of the mid-premium devices this year.

    However, some other reports also claim that the Pro model of the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. It is believed that both the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Ultra were powered by the same chipset and switching to the Dimensity 1200 processor would be a downgrade.

    Xiaomi Global Launch Xiaomi 11T Pro

    The Xiaomi 11T Pro is expected to pack a 108-megapixel main camera while the Xiaomi 11T is expected to come with a 64-megapixel triple camera setup. Both the smartphones are rumored to come in two configurations – 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. As for the vanilla Mi 11T variant, it should be powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. The phone is also said to have a 120Hz display and a 64-megapixel primary sensor.

    Both the new Xiaomi smartphones are likely to house a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. Rumors have it that both the handsets will sport a similar design. They are likely to be available in color options – Celestial Blue, Meteorite Gray, and Moonlight White.

    Mi Pad 5 series unveiled alongside Xiaomi 11T

    While Xiaomi is yet to confirm anything about the September 15 launch event, some reports have suggested that the company will also unveil the Mi Pad 11 series along with the Xiaomi 5T line-up. The Mi Pad 5 series was launched in China last month, and it won’t be a surprise if Xiaomi brings the product to global markets as well. Xiaomi recently announced that it is removing the ‘Mi’ branding from all its products globally.
