    WhatsApp New Feature

Whatsapp is currently beta testing this feature. Recently, news has been coming out about the multi-device feature of WhsatsApp.

The multi-device feature could soon be rolled out for Facebook-owned microblogging app Whatsapp. After the rollout of this new feature, users will be able to connect the same Whatsapp account to four devices simultaneously. Whatsapp’s design team has been working on this feature for quite some time. The company is currently doing beta testing of this feature. Recently, news has been coming about the multi-device feature of WhatsApp. Information about this multi-device feature of Whatsapp has been revealed through a screenshot of a beta version.

This is revealed by a screenshot shared by WABetaInfo. WABetaInfo wrote in his tweet, Yes, the same Whatsapp account can be used in four devices simultaneously. At the moment this feature is under development, but fantastic. In the screenshot shared, the app has to use Wi-Fi connectivity to sync the data of the device.

Currently, users can use their Whatsapp account on only one device. As soon as users log their Whatsapp account into another device. The account is automatically logged out from the first device. However, users can use the same account in mobile or tab as well as PC or laptop through Whatsapp Web.

As has been clearly highlighted in the tweet shared by WABetaInfo, the feature is currently under development, which has been spotted in the beta version. In the stable version, this feature can be introduced with some changes. Also in April this year, WABetaInfo revealed the multi-device feature by sharing a screenshot. In the screenshot shared, information about creating a profile was obtained by scanning the QR (Quick Response) code for multiple device connectivity. Whatsapp may take a little more time to roll out this feature.

Apart from the multi-device support, WhatsApp is also working on other features including Search Messages by date feature, Search image on the web, and support for ShareChat. The messaging app is also getting a redesigned storage usage section. So, the search message by date feature would allow us to search their old messages by entering the date and month of the message sent or received. The screenshots shared by the WABetinfo reveals that a Calendar icon will be available right above the keyboard. You can enter the relevant date, month, and year to find the message on WhatsApp. You wouldn’t have to scroll through the entire chats to look for a message. The feature is currently being developed by WhatsApp.
