Vodafone’s Rs 999 REDX Postpaid Plan comes with a profit of around Rs 20,000, which is why the company has kept a large amount of Rs 3000 as its exit fee.

Telecom operator Vodafone created a stir in the postpaid market last year with the introduction of the Rs 999 REDX premium plan. This plan comes with many exciting benefits like Netflix subscription for one year, Amazon Prime Membership, free international roaming pack for a week, etc. Since Vodafone offers additional call and SMS benefits in addition to standard data for a longer period of time, Telco is charging exit fees from customers.

Vodafone subscribers opting for this REDX postpaid plan will have to pay Rs 3,000 as an exit fee, however, it will be levied on users who quit the plan within six months of taking the plan. Having said that Vodafone’s Rs 999 REDX Postpaid Plan comes with a profit of around Rs 20,000, which is why the company has kept a large amount of Rs 3000 as its exit fee.

Vodafone introduced the REDX postpaid offer earlier this month and comes with unique benefits. As mentioned above, Vodafone states that benefits of Rs 20,000 with the REDX postpaid plan (includes the entire REDX plan benefits). Vodafone is offering these benefits, stating that customers leaving the plan will have to pay an exit fee of Rs 3,000.

Vodafone also states that REDX offers you a profit of over Rs. 20,000 with a superior and truly unlimited data experience.” All these benefits are available from day one. There is no waiting period given to you. There is no hidden position in it either. That is why this plan comes with an exit fee of Rs 3,000 for the first six months.

As you can see, Vodafone will charge Rs 3,000 from customers who want to shift to another postpaid plan or another operator within the first six months of choosing the REDX plan. This means that if you want to change to another plan outside Vodafone or disconnect your number or migrate to a prepaid plan within six months of activating REDX, you will be charged an exit fee of Rs 3,000.
