India’s leading telecom operator Vodafone Idea has introduced a special offer, under which low-income consumers will get free calling and high-speed data for a limited time. The company believes that this offer will be of great benefit to those customers who have not been able to recharge during the lockdown.
Vodafone Idea Unlock 2.0 Offer
With the commencement of gradual state-wise unlocking efforts, India’s migrant working populations have started returning from their home towns to their work locations. During the lockdown period, a segment of prepaid telecom users was unable to recharge due to several reasons.
According to the company, Vodafone Idea is inviting all such customers back to India’s fastest 4G network, as they resume work. To reconnect these low income group customers, India’s leading telecom services provider, the telecom operator is giving 50 Vi to Vi calling minutes along with 50MB of data. This complimentary benefit comes with a validity of 15 days, post which customers can recharge with their preferred value recharge packs.
This offer is only for those customers who have not been able to recharge during the lockdown. At the same time, the name of this offer of the company is Unlock 2.0 benefit.

Vodafone Idea Rs 49 and Rs 79 Pack
Having said this, the telecom company launched a recharge plan of Rs 49 in May to benefit the customers during the lockdown. Talking about the Rs 49 pack, it is a free-of-cost one-time recharge plan. A talk time of Rs 38 is offered in this plan. Also, validity of 28 days is available with 300MB of data. After this, a charge of Rs 0.25 per second is charged for local and international calls. In this plan of Vodafone Idea, exclusive offers are given on app and web recharge. Under this, 200MB data is given in this plan.
Apart from this, a plan of Rs 79 was also introduced. Talking about this plan, a talk-time of Rs 64 is offered in it. Also, the validity of 28 days is available with 200MB of data. However, at present, in this plan, a talk-time of Rs 128 is being given to the users as double data. Extra data of up to 200MB is available in this plan from Vodafone Idea.
