Vodafone Idea delivered the highest speed in the Assam circle in the third and fourth quarter of 2020, according to Ookla. Vi has now extended all its recently introduced prepaid 4G recharge benefits like night-time data, weekend rollover data benefit, streaming benefits to its customers in the state.
GIGAnet from Vodafone Idea (VI) has been verified as the fastest 4G network across Assam for the second consecutive quarter, by Ookla – the global leader in broadband testing and web-based network diagnostic applications. Vi delivered the fastest 4G Download and Upload speeds compared to all other operators in Oct-Dec ’20 quarter, making it the only operator delivering the fastest speed consistently over six months’ period in Assam, as per Ookla. It is the only operator to be ranked No. 1 in voice call quality, as per TRAI’s MyCall report, for the last three months.
Vi new prepaid plans with 3GB daily data plans with Disney+ Hotstar subscription:
The customers of Vodafone Idea can now also enjoy a host of benefits like high-speed data without limits from 12 am to 6 am. This benefit is available for all Vi prepaid customers on Unlimited plans of Rs. 249 and above. Vi customers can also enjoy weekend data rollover benefits on all unlimited packs of Rs.249 and above, allowing users to carry forward their unutilized data from their daily quota during the week and using it during the weekend.
In addition to this, customers can get double data on selected Unlimited Daily Data prepaid recharge packs.
For Vi users to binge watch and enjoy all the Sporting action, Vi has collaborated with Disney+ Hotstar to bring high quality entertainment and a year full of cricket to its customers.
Vi new prepaid plans at Rs 51 and Rs 301 with hospital care benefits:
Vodafone Idea is also providing its customers hospitalization insurance in association with Aditya Birla Health Insurance. While the Rs 51 plan gives 500 SMS — local and national for a validity of 28 days, the Rs 301 plan gives 1.5GB daily data with unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day. This plan also has a 28 days validity.
The additional benefits of this plan include free nighttime data with additional, weekend rollover data benefits and access to Vi movies and TV. Vi users can get Rs 1000 worth of hospitalisation expenses per day on medical emergencies including Covid, and Rs 2000 per Day on ICU expenses with these plans.
Vi adds streaming benefits to postpaid plans:
Additionally, Vodafone Idea has also added Disney+ Hotstar VIP benefit to some of its already existing postpaid plans above Rs 499. All eligible Vi users with primary connections will get the benefit of Disney+ Hotstar. Vi users can get access to Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription from the Vi app, Vi website, or Vi movies and TV app. Vi individual postpaid plans priced at Rs 499, Rs 699, and Rs 1,099 will get access to the benefit, and Vi family postpaid plans priced at Rs 649, Rs 799, Rs 999, and Rs 1,348 will get access to the Disney+ Hotstar benefit.
Vi Postpaid customers with plans starting Rs 499 also get access to Amazon Prime and Hotstar VIP memberships for one year. The flagship REDX plan priced at Rs 1099 offers a subscription to Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hotstar, discounted ISD rates, access to domestic and international airport lounges, and international roaming benefits.
