Tata Sky is currently the leading DTH service provider in the Indian market. Tata Sky has overtaken Dish TV and Airtel Digital TV.

The country’s leading DTH service provider Tata Sky has gifted multi-TV subscribers. These subscribers will not have to pay an NCF (Network Capacity Fee) of more than Rs 64 for a secondary connection. Tata Sky is currently the leading DTH service provider in the Indian market. Tata Sky has overtaken Dish TV and Airtel Digital TV. Recently, the company has also become the service provider offering the most HD channels. Tata Sky’s multi TV policy is better than other operators, due to which the company currently has more subscribers.

At the same time, if you pay attention to the plans of other DTH service providers, then their multi TV connection plans are the highest. Talking about the network capacity fee for multi TV connection of other service providers, Dish TV users have to pay Rs 50 for the secondary connection. That is, the users have to pay Rs 50 separately for the secondary connection in addition to Rs 130 (without tax). At the same time, Airtel takes its multi-TV connection users as a Rs 90 network capacity fee for a secondary connection.

Earlier, Tata Sky users had to pay a network capacity fee of Rs 130 for a secondary connection for multi TV, which has now been reduced to Rs 64.

TRAI will soon implement a new tariff order (NTO 2.0) for cable TV and DTH users. TRAI has set a minimum of Rs 130 and a maximum of Rs 160 for the network capacity fee of service providers. That is, no service provider can charge more than the network capacity fee of the users. The new cable TV and DTH rules will be implemented from 1 March 2020. After which users will not have to pay more than Rs 12 per month for any channel. At the same time, 200 free-to-air channels will be offered to users in a month.
