    Samsung Galaxy A80,India,launched

    Initially launched at Rs 47,990, the Galaxy A80 has been discounted by Rs 8,000 and is now available for Rs 39,990.

    Samsung Galaxy A80 is now available with a discounted price of Rs 39,990 in India from an initial price of Rs 47,990. The Galaxy A80 was launched just after the announcement of Xiaomi’s Redmi K20 smartphone and having Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset, which is more powerful comparatively Snapdragon 730 SoC in Redmi K20.

    Galaxy A80 comes with a unique feature of a rotating camera mechanism. Still, Galaxy A80 is getting dominated by OnePlus 7T which is available at Rs 37,999 in India. OnePlus 7T is having Qualcomm’s the best chip “Snapdragon 855+ and it ever offers a 90Hz screen which is apparently missing in Galaxy A80. Though in Galaxy A80, users can get a full-screen experience, but in comparison, OnePlus 7T is a better option for overall buy from Rs 2,000 lesser from the same configuration of Galaxy A80.

    The new price of the Galaxy A80 can be seen on online platforms like Amazon India, Samsung Shop Online and offline retail stores across the country. Considering India’s Diwali festive sale, the price cut has been done and it may go back to the original price. The device comes with an 8GB+128 GB variance only.

It does not feature wireless charging, but Samsung is bundling 25W fast charger. The earlier pricing of Galaxy A80 was equal to OnePlus 7 Pro which offers more specs with Snapdragon 730G chipset.

    Should you go for the Galaxy A80?

    The Galaxy A80 offers some interesting new features such as an immersive notch-less AMOLED display and a rotating camera system. Comparing the price range, the initial cost was much higher and now it has been dropped to Rs 39,990, the smartphone is worth considering.

    The Snapdragon 730G SoC is a fast and smooth chipset, offering a great gaming experience when coupled with the Galaxy A80s New Infinity display. The phone also gets a decent day-long battery life and fast charging support. That being said, you will get flagships like OnePlus 7T and Redmi K20 Pro that offer an overall better experience for much less price.
