Reliance Jio has announced a change in the price of its Rs 222 popular pre-paid plan. This recharge plan was introduced by Jio as an add-on pack in June this year, which comes with a free annual subscription to Disney + Hotstar VIP. But now users will have to pay Rs 255 instead of Rs 222 for this plan. Actually, the company has made the recharge plan of Rs 222 expensive by Rs 33. The company is offering an annual subscription to Disney + Hotstar VIP for free on this plan. Meaning users will be able to enjoy IPL for free.

According to an online report, the prepaid recharge plan has been made live in the MyJio app at a price of Rs 255. In such a situation, users can recharge the plan at a new price. Let us know that Jio modified prepaid plan comes with 15GB high-speed unlimited data. At the same time, after the 15GB data limit is over, the internet speed of the users will be reduced to 64kbps.
This plan is an add-on for up to the validity of the existing plan of the users and is getting a 1-year subscription of Disney + Hotstar VIP. Explain that a yearly subscription of Disney + Hotstar VIP is required to watch free IPL on mobile.
A recharge plan of Rs 222 was introduced by Reliance Jio for those users of Jio who could not subscribe to Disney + Hotstar VIP with Jio plans. Actually, the new Disney + Hotstar VIP subscriptions were available with the recently launched prepaid plans. That’s why Jio had launched a plan of Rs 222, especially for Jio users with an annual recharge plan.
Interestingly, Reliance Jio hasn’t made any changes to the other Disney+ Hotstar packs offered by Reliance Jio. For example, the Rs 499 Disney+ Hotstar is available at the same price as before. This pack offers a validity of 56 days but does not require a base-calling plan to function. With this plan, Jio gives 1.5GB of data for 56 days (total 84GB data) and a complimentary subscription to other Jio apps.
Talking about Jio’s popular plans, the company also announced some new postpaid plans only a few weeks ago. These plans not only bring subscription to Disney+ Hotstar but also a number of other OTT services. These plans are priced at Rs 399, Rs 599, Rs 799, Rs 999 and Rs 1499 last month.
The JioPostpaid Plus plans to require the customers to pay a security deposit for each plan, as per the terms and conditions uploaded on Jio’s website. The top-tier plan priced at Rs 1499 comes for a contract period of six months. The terms and conditions note that Jio’s Rs 399, Rs 599, Rs 799, and Rs 999 PostPaid Plus plans to require a security deposit of Rs 500, Rs 750, Rs 1000, and Rs 1200 respectively.
