The leaked report claimed that the new smartphone will be the rebranded version of the Redmi Note 9 4G, which was launched in China in November last year and was then launched in India under the name Redmi 9 Power with a different camera setup. A few days ago, Redmi 9T also got listed on a few certification websites. The phone bears the model number M2010J19ST. The model number was also reportedly listed on Thailand’s NBTC and Malaysia’s SIRIM certification websites. The listings have not revealed any details about the specifications and features of the device but some reports have hinted that the phone is just a rebranded version of Redmi Note 9 4G, which has been released in China.
Many smartphones lined up to launch in the beginning of the year
According to Tipster’s claim, the Snapdrachun 888 5G chipset can be used in the upcoming Redmi 9T smartphone. The teaser of the Redmi 9T smartphone has been released in Malaysia, according to which the Redmi 9T smartphone can be launched in early January. According to Tipster’s claim, along with Redmi 9T, the company can introduce 9 new smartphones in the global market at the beginning of 2021. However, no official information has been shared by Xiaomi about the launch date of the upcoming smartphone.
Redmi 9T expected specifications
The Redmi 9T is listed in Thailand as model number M2010J19ST and the Redmi 9T moniker. There is no disclosure about the specifications of the phone from the online listing of the phone. However, if it will be a rebranded version of Redmi Note 9 4G, then a 6.53 inch Full HD Plus display can be given on the phone. Its resolution is 1,080×2,340 pixels. Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC will be supported as a processor in the phone. In addition, the phone will come in 4GB RAM and a 128GB onboard storage option. Quad camera setup can be given for photography on the phone.
It is being called the rebranded version of the Redmi Note 9 4G, which has already debuted in China and launched in Indi as Redmi 9 Power. If the reports turn out to be true, the Redmi 9T could feature a primary 48-megapixel lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front, there could be a 16-megapixel camera for selfies. The phone could use a 6000mAh battery which might come with support for 18W fast charging.
