Realme has announced the launch of two new smartphones of the Realme GT series in India. These smartphones will be Realme GT 5G and Realme GT Master Edition. Both these smartphones of Realme will be launched in India on August 18. The launch event can be seen from the company’s official social media channel.
This has been revealed by Madhav Seth, India and Europe CEO of Realme brand in the latest Ask Madhav episode. The Realme GT 5G smartphone debuted in the global market in China in March and June this year. Similarly, the Indian variant can be offered with similar specifications.
Realme GT 5G Expected Specifications
A punch-hole AMOLED display can be given to the Realme GT 5G smartphone. A 6.43-inch display can be given in it. The phone can be offered with 120Hz refresh rate support. The phone will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. A glass back panel and a vegan glass panel and vegan leather texture can be supported in the phone.
A triple rear camera has been given in the Realme GT 5G smartphone. Its main camera will be 64MP. Apart from this 8MP ultra-wide lens and 2MP macro lens have been supported. A 16MP camera can be given for selfie.
The flagship Snapdragon 888 processor can be supported in the Realme GT 5G smartphone. The phone has been introduced with 16GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Stainless steel liquid cooling system has been supported in the phone. A 4,500mAh battery is provided in the phone for power backup. The phone can be offered with 65W fast charging support. The phone can be offered with a USB-C port, 3.5mm jack, 5G, 4G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth, and NFC support.
Realme GT Master Edition Specifications
The Realme GT Master Explorer Edition is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G processor, which is a slightly better version of last year’s Snapdragon 865. There is an Adreno 650 GPU for graphics on the phone and a maximum clock speed of 3.2GHz on the chipset. There is up to 12GB of RAM on the phone, but Realme is giving an option to expand the RAM virtually by 7GB, which means you can have as much as 19GB of RAM on the phone. It comes with a 6.55-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a touch sampling rate of 480Hz. It also has an in-display optical fingerprint sensor. Realme GT Master Explorer Edition comes with Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0.
For photography, the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition uses a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor on the primary camera. The rear camera system also includes a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel third camera. For selfies, the phone comes with a 32-megapixel camera that resides inside the punch-hole. The Realme GT Master Explorer Edition has a 4500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging, which means you can top up the battery in less than 40 minutes. The phone has dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos but lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is 8mm thick and weighs around 185 grams.
The Realme GT Master Edition has a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. It uses an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It has a 64-megapixel camera on the backside, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. There is a 32-megapixel front-facing camera on the phone. This phone does not have stereo speakers but supports Hi-Res Audio. It has a 4300mAh battery that, too, charges up to 65W.
