POCO C55 has debuted in India for Rs 9499. There are two memory variants of the device that we will come to later.
POCO, the popular smartphone brand, has launched its latest smartphone, the POCO C55, in India. The smartphone was launched at an online event on Monday, and it boasts an impressive list of features and specifications.
The POCO C55 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 processor and comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.
In terms of camera, the POCO C55 comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling.
The smartphone also features a large 5000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging. It runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 11 and comes with POCO Launcher 3.0 out of the box.
The POCO C55 also comes with a range of connectivity options, including dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
At the launch event, Anuj Sharma, Country Director of POCO India, said, “We are thrilled to bring the POCO C55 to the Indian market. This phone is designed to offer the best value for money and we are confident that it will be loved by our customers.”
The POCO C55 is available in two colors, Arctic Blue and Lime Green, and is priced at Rs 9,999. It will go on sale in India from February 22 via Flipkart.
Overall, the POCO C55 looks like a solid offering in the budget segment, and with its competitive pricing and impressive specifications, it could prove to be a hit among Indian consumers.
