    OnePlus Nord 5G Discontinued in India

    The OnePlus Nord 5G smartphone was the entry level smartphone of the Nord series. In the last one year, OnePlus launched OnePlus Nord CE 5G under its Nord series. Also recently OnePlus Nord 2 5G has been launched.

    Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus’s cheapest 5G phone OnePlus Nord is shutting down in India. The company has stopped production of the OnePlus Nord 5G for India. In such a situation, only the remaining stock of Nord 5G will be sold. After this Nord will be closed forever. OnePlus Nord was introduced on 21 July 2020. In such a situation, it has been decided to discontinue OnePlus Nord 5G after exactly one year. The starting price of the OnePlus Nord 5G was Rs 24,999.

    The OnePlus Nord smartphone was the entry-level smartphone of the Nord series. In the last year, OnePlus launched OnePlus Nord CE 5G under its Nord series. Also recently OnePlus Nord 2 5G has been launched. Both these smartphones come with updated features. Also, the price is similar to OnePlus Nord 5G. Due to this, the company has decided to discontinue OnePlus Nord 5G.

    OnePlus Nord 5G Specifications

    OnePlus Nord 2 comes with a 6.43-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels at a pixel density of 410 pixels per inch (ppi) and an aspect ratio of 20:9. OnePlus Nord 2 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor. It comes with 6GB of RAM. The OnePlus Nord 2 runs Android 11 and is powered by a 4500mAh battery. The OnePlus Nord 2 supports proprietary fast charging.

    OnePlus Nord 5G

    As far as the cameras are concerned, the OnePlus Nord 2 on the rear packs a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.88 aperture and a pixel size of 1.0-micron; an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.25 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.5 aperture. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 32-megapixel camera on the front for selfies with an f/2.45 aperture and a pixel size of 0.8-micron.

    The OnePlus Nord 2 runs OxygenOS 11.3 is based on Android 11 and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage. The Nord 2 is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. The Nord 2 measures 158.90 x 73.20 x 8.25mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 189.00 grams. It was launched in Blue Haze, Gray Seirra, and Green-Wood colors.

    OnePlus Nord 5G

    Connectivity options on the OnePlus Nord 2 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/Yes, GPS, Bluetooth v5.20, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. The OnePlus Nord 2 supports face unlock.
