Huawei has launched the MatePad with 5G support. This device also has a 7250mAh battery and M-Pencil stylus support.
Huawei has launched the “Huawei MatePad” in its domestic market in China along with the Nova 7 Series. This device has been launched with M-Pencil stylus support and currently, it will be available only in China. The company has not provided any information related to its launch in the global market. But it is expected that the company can also launch it in other countries including India.

According to the information given on Huawei’s website, the price of 4GB + 64GB storage model of Huawei MatePad is CNY 1,899 i.e. around Rs 20,420 and 6GB + 128GB storage variant is priced at CNY 2,199 i.e. around Rs 23,640. The company has also launched its LTE + Wi-Fi variant and its price is CNY 2,499 around Rs 26,870. It has 6GB + 128GB storage. This device will be available only in white color variants. Users can buy it from the company’s website and Vmall.

The Huawei Matepad 10.4 has an Aluminium construction with a frame and back panel made of it. It weighs nearly 450 grams and measures 245.2mm x 154.96mm x 7.35mm. The device has a 10.4-inch 2000 x 1200 pixel display with a TUV Rheinland certification at the front of the device. The display is also compatible with the new M-Pencil, with higher accuracy. However, the M-Pencil doesn’t come as a part of the box contents.
Under the hood, the Huawei MatePad 10.4 is powered by the company’s 2019 Powerhouse, the Kirin 810 SoC with a clock speed of up to 2.27Ghz based on a 7nm FinFet process. It is more than enough to drive a bigger display and perform daily tasks at ease. The optics include a single 8MP camera on both the front and the back, with autofocus being on the rear camera. The phone has a huge 7250mAh battery powering the device and runs on EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 out of the box.
This display is also compatible with the OEM’s Mate-Pencil, its high-accuracy stylus; however, this accessory does not come in the new tablet’s box. The MatePad 10.4 is powered by the Kirin 810 SoC, Huawei’s 2019 mid-range workhorse processor. Its base model has 4GB of RAM, with which 64GB of internal storage is paired: it is just as well this slate also has a microSD card slot for up to 512GB more space.

For photography, Huawei MatePad has an 8MP front and 8MP rear camera. With the rear camera, users can also use LED flash and autofocus. Talking about other features, this tablet has an ambient light sensor, color temperature sensor, compass, and gravity sensors. Huawei MatePad weighs 450 grams and the size is 245.2×154.96×7.35mm.
Additional features include an automatic Monochrome mode in the display, Histen 6.0 speakers with Harman Kardon audio, M-pencil withdrawing, calligraphy, and taking notes, designed for both kids, teenagers, and adults. There is a custom desktop mode that puts educational apps and content right in front of the user once the tablet is unlocked.
