    Google Duo Video Calling

Google Duo video calls now support up to 32 participants all at once on Android. The new message also indicates that users can now send video messages to groups.

This year, due to the coronavirus epidemic, people are turning to virtual communications. Given this, many video calling apps have increased their capacity, so that more and more users can connect together. In this sequence, Whatsapp has also increased its video calling feature, increasing the limit from 4 users to 8 users. Now, the limits have also been increased to 32 in the Google Duo video-calling app. That is, through this app, video calls can be done with 32 people. Google has currently rolled out this feature for Android users.

    What is Google Duo?

Google built the calling service up, focusing on a wealth of features. That includes the ability to send video or photo messages with handwritten or typed captions. So it serves as a kind of do-all messaging app. And it also works with smart home hubs and tablets, in addition to mobile and the web.

One of the app’s best features is an AI-driven solution called WaveNetEQ. That essentially acts to automatically correct and hide audio issues in Google Duo calls. The result is a smoother, less distorted experience than offered by some of the competition. And, of course, end-to-end encryption is touted as a core tenet too. So privacy-concerned users can benefit as well from the app.

Whats New in the Latest Update

Earlier, the company had increased the limit of its video calling app to 12. Now, it has been extended again. In addition to this, Google has also integrated its Meet video calling app with Gmail. So that users do not have to go to a new web page separately for video conferencing. This feature of Google Duo is currently rolled out for limited users. Soon it can be rolled out for all users. Google is informing its Duo users through a pop-up message that their video calling limit has been increased.

If you are also Google Duo users and you have not received this message, then you may have to wait a bit. The company is doing its phase-wise roll out. This feature has been rolled out for the Smart Display Nest Hub of Google with Android smartphones. Facebook-owned instant messaging app Whatsapp is going to get challenged after the upgrade to this video calling feature of Google Duo. Also, other video calling apps can also be challenged by this.
