    What is FAU-G?

FAU-G, aka Fearless and United Guards, is an action game for mobile that has been made in India by Bangalore-based company nCore Games. It was announced back in September 2020 after the Indian government banned PUBG Mobile in the country. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar announced FAU-G on Twitter, saying it supports the Atmanirbhar movement and that “players will also learn about the sacrifices of our soldiers.” He also shared that 20 percent of the revenue generated by the game will be donated to Bharat Ke Veer trust.

nCore Games co-founder Vishal Gondal had revealed that the first level in FAU-G is based on the Galwan Valley skirmish where the Indian Army engaged with Chinese troops. Then in October, the actor shared a teaser that gave us a glimpse at the brawler mechanics in the game. While the game has been referred to as an Indian alternative to PUBG Mobile, it doesn’t seem to feature the same battle royale-style gameplay yet.

Pre-registration of games over 40 lakhs

The FAU-G game was announced about 4 months ago. Its pre-registration started in November last year. About 10 lakh people had registered within 24 hours of pre-registration of the game. At the same time, more than 40 lakh pre-registrations have been done. The FAU-G game was announced in September 2020, shortly after the PUBG game ban in India. In such a situation, the Made in India game FAU-G was being considered as an alternative to PUBG.

Battle royal gameplay mode will not be found in the FAUG game. In this, many players will be able to play simultaneously. Support of this kind of multiplayer mode will be found in PUBG Mobile, Fortnite, and Call of Duty Mobile recently. The first teaser of the FAUG game featured the Galvan valley in the Ladakh Valley, where a scuffle took place between the soldiers of China and India. The teaser featured the song of the game, where Indian soldiers could be seen fighting enemies. Having said this, pre-registration of the FAU-G game is already started from Google Play Store.
