State-owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has extended the validity of its Rs 108 prepaid plan till December 12 for the users. The company had launched this plan in July for 90 days.
BSNL offers unlimited voice calling and free mobile internet data for a validity period of 28 days. The company too offers 500 free SMS with this plan. The plan was announced only for 90 days which implies it might be bought as it were till October 27. But presently it has been expanded till December 12. BSNL has also declared to expand the availability period of its Marutham prepaid plan. Subscribers can presently avail of the plan till January 21, 2020.
The details of the plan have been announced from the BSNL Chennai circle. The company website, it shows that the prepaid plan can now be availed till December 12. Subscriber of Rs 108 BSNL Prepaid plan will also get the same benefits as Unlimited voice calling to any network in the circle along with in Roaming. Still confirmation or applicability for all circle on this plan is yet to come, but as we are aware it is not available for BSNL Delhi & Mumbai Circle. This revision has also been done in mobile internet data, and now offering 1GB daily data from a previous 0.5GB mobile data.
BSNL Rs. 108 prepaid plan features
BSNL’s Rs 108 plan bundles with unlimited voice calls to any network within the circle along with free-roaming calls except Mumbai and Delhi circles. It has also 500 SMS for the complete validity period of 28 days. The Prepaid plan earlier offering 0.5GB mobile internet data per day, and now in the revision, it has been increased to 1GB daily mobile internet data benefits.
BSNL has recently been attempting difficult to make strides its offering to draw in more subscribers. The company has also declared to extend its Rs 1,199 prepaid plan for the subscribers for three more months. But this plan is currently restricted to New Subscribers only. For existing subscribers, BSNL offering other long term plans. The Rs 1,188 plan will be valid for 365 days from the date of recharge and bundles with 5GB of mobile internet data. The 5GB data can be consumed through the validity period of 365 days and the company not offering any daily data benefits. Though the company has mentioned 250 minutes of free calls, after which the calls will be charged as per the base plan, it might be beneficial to subscribers who are having less outgoing call usage. In addition, the company also offers 1200 SMS for the validity period.
Since the announcement of IUC calls from Reliance Jio, BSNL is trying to win back their customer by bringing many offers in the market. The company has also recently announced its prepaid recharge voicer with the cheapest one of Rs 96 and bundled with free calls up to 250 minutes per day having 28 days of the validity period.
