BSNL is now offering a special monthly plan for 4G subscribers. For a very low price, the plan offers 90GB data for 30 days without any daily usage limits.

Ever since the financial issues have haunted it, state-owned operator BSNL has been off to a new start. The operator has been extremely competitive with its pricing and plans to compete against the established private sector players like Jio, Airtel and Vodafone. And the new efforts are bearing fruits as BSNL is the only player apart from Jio to gain subscribers monthly when the rest of industry is losing customers at a rapid rate.

In a bid to ensure the momentum keeps going in a positive direction, BSNL has come up with a new prepaid plan for its 4G subscribers in the Kerala circle. The new plan has been introduced on the occasion of Onam and it aims to bring in more customers to its 4G services with mega benefits in terms of data, call, and SMS. Just note that this plan is only restricted to the Kerala circle as of now.BSNL

So what are the benefits of this new plan?

For starters, the price itself. This prepaid plan costs Rs 234 and for a monthly plan, that’s reasonable. For Rs 234, you are getting the validity of 30 days, which may seem normal at first. However, when it comes to the data, this plan shines. Subscribers will get a total data allotment of 90GB for a period of 30 days with no daily usage limits. Hence, you get the total 90GB data at your disposal and you can use the way you want.

BSNL is also offering free voice calls but here. BSNL is employing daily limits. Subscribers can only make free calls for 250 minutes per day post which they will be charged at regular call rates. Along with the calls, BSNL is also offering 100SMSes per day for free.

Right now, the plan’s available for Kerala subscribers but it isn’t known how long will BSNL continue with this offer. And given that it’s an Onam special plan, it might not make it to the other circles where BSNL 4G is present.

BSNL is quite late to the party when it comes to 4G services. However, the new 4G network aims to penetrate the rural and semi-urban markets with affordable pricing when compared to its private-sector rivals.
