Bharti Airtel Deploying LTE 900 Technology Across Many States
While this new contract will help Bharti Airtel in boosting its business side of the things. On the consumer front, the telecom operator has its own ways of giving a boost to the services. For example, the Sunil Bharti Mittal led telco has been on the task of deploying LTE 900 technology in various states and cities to provide better 4G services to its customers. The use of LTE 900 or the 900 MHz spectrum will lead to better 4G penetration and coverage and hence better services for the subscribers of Bharti Airtel. The use of LTE 900 also means that the telecom operator is refarming the spectrum which it was using for 3G services. Meaning that now Airtel is shutting down its 3G services in certain regions and using the spectrum for 4G services. Some of the areas, where the telco has deployed LTE 900 includes Assam and Kolkata.
