    Discontinued iPhone 8

Apple has launched the iPhone SE 2020 in India. With the launch, the company has discontinued the iPhone 8, taking a big decision.

Apple has finally launched its latest device iPhone SE 2. iPhone SE 2 has also been launched in India in the global market. While some users are happy when the company’s verifiable device comes on the market, some users may be disappointed. Because after launching the iPhone SE 2, the company has decided to discontinue the iPhone 8 series. That is, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will no longer be available for sale on the company’s website.Apple iPhone 8

Let us know that the company has not officially announced about disconnecting the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. But according to the MacRumors report, Apple will no longer make the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus available for sale on its official website. Rather, users will be able to buy them from Amazon, Flipkart or select offline stores. After this news, we checked on the company’s Indian website, after which we came to know that the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus have been removed from the website.

Talking about Apple iPhone SE 2, it has been launched in Black, White and Red three color variants. Its 64GB variant costs Rs 42,500, 128GB storage variant costs Rs 47,800 and 256GB storage variant costs Rs 58,300. However, the company has not given any information about the availability of iPhone SE 2 yet.

iPhone SE 2 has been introduced on the latest iOS 13. It has a 4.7-inch Retina HD IPS display. Its screen resolution is 750 x 1334 pixels. It has a 12MP single rear camera with an LED flash for photography. While there is a 7MP front camera for video calling and selfie.

What might bother people a bit more is that Apple has also stopped selling the iPhone 8 Plus. This has a larger 5.5-inch screen than the 4.7-inch iPhone SE 2020, and with no iPhone SE Plus there’s no direct alternative to opt for instead. The closest option would be the 6.1-inch iPhone XR, but that’s a fair bit more expensive.

However, for the time being at least it still shouldn’t be too tricky to get an iPhone 8 Plus, as while Apple itself has stopped selling the phone, it’s still going to offer the handset through other retailers (According to an online source). How long that will remain the case for though is unclear, so if you want an iPhone 8 Plus you should probably buy one sooner rather than later.
