To be a part of this initiative and join the celebration, customers have to send in their wishes along with a selfie. Vodafone Idea has decided to plant trees in return of these wishes – more the wishes more will be the number of trees planted. The company has initiated public participation for the same through My Vodafone App and My Idea-Recharge and Payments App.

Once the customer goes on either of the apps, there will be a prompt for him/her to join the celebration. Customer will have to post a selfie using existing filters on that app to show that we are always Stronger Together. The customers need to tag both @VodafoneZoozoos/@idea and their friends. Subscribers also need to use #HappyBirthdayVIL in their posts.

This campaign will be live until 30th September. So far, the brand has garnered an overwhelming response with over 2 lac wishes from both Vodafone and Idea subscribers, the company said.
