Redmi has launched its first smart display with smart AI support in the market, which will be made available for sale from March 27.
Xiaomi’s sub-brand company Redmi has launched its first smart display ‘Redmi Smart Display 8’ in the market. In which users will also get a touchscreen display as well as an HD camera. This device is currently launched in the Chinese market only. The company has not made any disclosure about its launch in other countries. The specialty of Redmi Smart Display 8 is that it is able to recognize your voice and the face recognition provided in it will also identify your children. This device is largely inspired by the Amazon Echo Show and can compete with it.
Redmi Smart Display 8 has been launched in the Chinese market with a price of CNY 349 i.e. approximately Rs 3,800 and it is listed on the company’s Chinese website. It will be made available for sale from March 27. At present, other countries including India may have to wait for this device of the company.
Features of Redmi Smart Display 8
In terms of features, Redmi Smart Display 8 is very similar to the company’s XiaoAI Touchscreen Speaker Pro 8 which was launched in December 2019. Like this, users will also get the facility of smart speaker touchscreen in the new device. Redmi Smart Display 8 has an 8-inch touchscreen display that comes with a 178 degree wide viewing angle.
Talking about other features, music, video, and alarms can be controlled with the help of Xiao AI. At the same time, the HD camera has been provided in its front panel, in which users can also enjoy video calling by connecting to the phone.
