What’s New in Android 10 for Redmi K2 Devices

There will not be much changed in the new update as compared to MIUI 11 based on Android 9 which rolled out in October. However, Google’s security patch and price feature that comes with Android 10 will surely get users with new updates. With the MIUI 11 rolled out in October, users had already received features such as Gesture Navigation and Dark Mode. Now, users will also get privacy and other features.

How to Update to Android 10?

    Via OTA Update

The Redmi K20 series is one of the best-selling mid-range smartphones in India. This latest update of this smartphone can also be updated through OTA (over the air) or fully stable ROM. Users have to go to the settings of the device and go to the software update section. From there, users will be able to search for new updates. Users will be able to download and install it when a new update is available. However, to download the update, the device has to be connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data.

    The second way (ROM update)

If users do not get an OTA update in the phone’s settings, then users can download the stable ROM update through the company’s official community forum. Users have to save the phone to the internal storage after downloading the update from the community forum. After this, users will be able to install this new update by going to Settings and tapping on the About phone.
