Reliance Jio’s new Truly Unlimited 5G Data Pack offers one day of high-speed 5G connectivity for Rs 15, targeting subscribers who need extra data for streaming, gaming, downloads and remote work.
Reliance Jio has introduced a new Rs 15 Truly Unlimited 5G Data Pack in India, offering subscribers unlimited 5G data for 24 hours. The short-duration recharge is designed for users who need a large amount of mobile data for a day without opting for a longer-validity plan.
The new pack provides access to Jio’s True 5G network during its validity period. It could be useful for activities such as watching live sports, streaming high-resolution videos, playing online games, downloading large files and backing up photos and videos to cloud storage.
Priced at Rs 15, the recharge adds a low-cost, short-term option to Jio’s prepaid data portfolio. It is a data add-on rather than a replacement for a regular prepaid recharge.
Jio Rs 15 unlimited 5G data pack: Price and benefits
The new Jio recharge is listed with a price of Rs 15 and a validity of 24 hours. Unlike conventional data add-ons that provide a fixed data allowance, this pack is promoted as offering unlimited 5G data during its validity.
Here are the key details:
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Operator | Reliance Jio |
| Pack price | Rs 15 |
| Data benefit | Truly Unlimited 5G data |
| Validity | 24 hours |
| Network | Jio True 5G |
| Pack category | 5G data add-on |
| Availability | India |
The 24-hour validity makes the pack suitable for temporary increases in data consumption. For example, subscribers who need additional connectivity for a large download, a day of remote work or extended video streaming can consider this recharge.
Who can use Jio’s Rs 15 unlimited 5G pack?
Subscribers should check the eligibility conditions before purchasing the pack. Access to Jio’s True 5G network requires a compatible 5G smartphone and active Jio 5G coverage in the area.
Jio’s existing unlimited 5G policy generally requires an eligible prepaid plan offering at least 2GB of daily data. However, customers should check the specific terms displayed against the Rs 15 add-on in MyJio, particularly whether their existing base recharge qualifies for its unlimited 5G benefit.
The Rs 15 pack should not be confused with a regular prepaid plan. It does not replace the need for an active service plan for calling and other benefits.
What can you do with Jio’s 24-hour 5G data pack?
The short validity makes the recharge particularly relevant for subscribers who occasionally consume large amounts of data.
1. Stream videos and live sports
Users can access video streaming services and watch live sports over Jio’s 5G network. Actual streaming quality will depend on network speed, coverage and the capabilities of the device and streaming service.
2. Download large files
The pack can be useful for downloading large applications, game updates, software packages and other files without relying entirely on a limited daily data allowance.
3. Play online games
Mobile gamers who need a high-speed connection for multiplayer games can use the pack during a gaming session. However, latency and gaming performance will still depend on network conditions and server location.
4. Back up photos and videos
Subscribers can use the additional connectivity to upload large photo and video collections to cloud storage services.
5. Work using a mobile hotspot
Users can also consider sharing their smartphone’s mobile connection with a laptop or tablet for online meetings, file transfers and other work-related activities, subject to the pack’s applicable usage terms and device support.

Is Jio’s Rs 15 5G pack worth recharging?
At Rs 15 for 24 hours, the pack offers an inexpensive way to access additional 5G connectivity for a limited period. Its value will depend on how frequently a subscriber needs extra data and whether the existing recharge already includes unlimited 5G benefits.
For customers who regularly use eligible Jio plans with unlimited 5G, an additional pack may not be necessary. However, users with occasional high-data requirements may find a one-day option more convenient than purchasing a longer-validity data add-on.
The most important consideration is eligibility. Before recharging, users should confirm that the Rs 15 pack’s unlimited 5G benefit applies to their number and that Jio True 5G coverage is available where they intend to use it.
The new recharge gives Jio subscribers another short-term data option, particularly for days when streaming, gaming, downloads or work require more connectivity than usual.
