The OPPO K14 Plus is now available for purchase in India, with the smartphone going on sale from Rs 29,999. The handset is available through Flipkart and OPPO’s online store, coinciding with the start of the Flipkart Big Billion Days festive sale.
The K14 Plus stands out with an 8,000mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Max chipset and a 144Hz AMOLED display. Buyers purchasing the phone on the first day can also get an instant Rs 4,000 bank discount on eligible transactions, reducing the effective starting price to Rs 25,999.
OPPO K14 Plus Price and Launch-Day Offer
The OPPO K14 Plus starts at Rs 29,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 128GB model costs Rs 32,999, while the top-end 8GB + 256GB version is priced at Rs 35,999.
For the first day of the sale, OPPO is offering an instant Rs 4,000 bank discount across the three variants, subject to the applicable offer conditions. That brings the effective prices to Rs 25,999, Rs 28,999 and Rs 31,999, respectively. A six-month no-cost EMI option is also available.
The phone is available in Star White and Solar Orange colour options through Flipkart and the OPPO India online store.
8,000mAh Battery Is the Main Highlight
The biggest hardware feature of the K14 Plus is its 8,000mAh battery.
OPPO has paired the large battery with 45W SUPERVOOC wired charging. The company is targeting users who want longer battery endurance for gaming, video streaming and everyday use without having to recharge the phone frequently.
The battery has a typical capacity of 8,000mAh and a rated capacity of 7,780mAh. The phone also supports 10W reverse wired charging, allowing it to provide power to compatible accessories and other devices.
The large battery does add to the phone’s physical size and weight. OPPO lists the device at 207 grams and 8.4mm thick.
Dimensity 7360 Max Powers the Phone
The K14 Plus is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360 MAX chipset. It is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The combination puts the phone in the upper part of the mainstream K-series segment, with the emphasis on balancing performance and battery capacity rather than focusing exclusively on camera hardware.
The phone also includes an under-display fingerprint sensor and an infrared remote control, giving it a few additional features that are not universal across its price segment.
144Hz AMOLED Display
The OPPO K14 Plus features a 6.77-inch flexible AMOLED display with a 2,772 × 1,272-pixel resolution. The panel supports an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144Hz, while the default touch sampling rate is 120Hz and the instantaneous touch sampling rate can reach 4,000Hz in supported scenarios.
OPPO lists typical brightness at 800 nits and HBM brightness at 1,800 nits. The display also supports 10-bit colour depth and 100% DCI-P3 coverage in standard and natural colour modes.
For consumers, the combination of a large AMOLED panel and high refresh rate should make the phone particularly suited to video consumption, gaming and general multimedia use.
50MP OIS Camera
The rear camera system consists of a 50MP primary camera with a two-axis optical image stabilisation system and a 2MP monochrome camera. The front camera is a 16MP sensor.
The main camera can record 4K video at 30fps, while electronic and optical stabilisation are available for supported recording modes. The phone also includes features such as portrait, night, dual-view video and document scanning.
The camera setup is therefore centred around the main 50MP sensor rather than a multi-camera system with an ultrawide or telephoto camera.
ColorOS and Other Features
The K14 Plus runs OPPO’s ColorOS software and is built around Android. OPPO’s India specifications list ColorOS 16, while launch reports have described the software as ColorOS 16.5 based on Android 17.
The phone also comes with stereo speakers, an IR blaster, 5G connectivity and IP69K-rated protection. Its storage cannot be expanded through a microSD card, so buyers choosing between the 128GB and 256GB versions should consider their long-term storage requirements.
OPPO K14 Plus: What Makes It Different?
At Rs 29,999, the K14 Plus is entering a competitive part of India’s smartphone market, but its positioning is fairly clear.
Instead of competing only on camera specifications, OPPO is putting a large 8,000mAh battery at the centre of the product. The Dimensity 7360 Max, 144Hz AMOLED display and 45W charging add to that performance-and-endurance proposition.
The launch-day Rs 4,000 discount makes the phone more aggressive during the festive sale period, but it is important to distinguish the effective offer price from the regular listed price. The starting retail price remains Rs 29,999.
For buyers prioritising battery capacity, display quality and everyday performance, the K14 Plus is now one of OPPO’s key offerings in this segment. Its actual value against competing smartphones will ultimately depend on camera performance, software support and sustained performance alongside the headline specifications.
With the phone now on sale during the festive shopping period, the K14 Plus is positioned to benefit from one of the busiest smartphone buying windows in India’s annual retail calendar.
