Airtel has added 150GB of bonus bulk data to its Rs 3,999 annual prepaid plan, giving users additional high-speed data on top of the plan’s regular daily quota. The offer makes Airtel’s 365-day recharge more data-heavy while retaining unlimited 5G and several bundled benefits.
The Rs 3,999 plan is aimed at users who prefer to make a single recharge for the entire year instead of renewing their connection every few weeks or months. The 150GB bonus data is being offered as an additional benefit and is separate from the plan’s 2.5GB daily data allocation.
Airtel Rs 3,999 Plan Benefits
The Airtel Rs 3,999 prepaid plan comes with 365 days of validity. Users get 2.5GB of high-speed data every day, along with unlimited local, STD and roaming voice calls and 100 SMS per day.
Under the current offer, Airtel is also providing 150GB of additional bulk data. This means the bonus data sits on top of the regular daily data allowance rather than replacing part of the 2.5GB-per-day quota.
The plan also includes unlimited 5G data for eligible Airtel 5G users. Airtel’s terms state that its unlimited-data offers are intended for personal, non-commercial use, with commercial usage defined around data consumption beyond 300GB in 30 days.
One Year Validity With 2.5GB Daily Data
Over 365 days, the regular 2.5GB daily allocation works out to a theoretical 912.5GB of daily-quota data if the full allowance is used every day. The additional 150GB bonus data is separate from this calculation.
However, the daily data should not be confused with the 150GB bulk benefit. The daily quota refreshes each day, while the bonus data is additional bulk data associated with the promotional offer.
For users who regularly consume mobile data but do not want to recharge every month, the combination gives the plan a different proposition from Airtel’s lower-priced annual recharge options.
Airtel Also Has a Rs 3,599 Annual Plan
Airtel’s Rs 3,599 prepaid plan also offers 365 days of validity, but it comes with 2GB of daily data rather than 2.5GB. The current 150GB bonus is specifically associated with the Rs 3,999 plan and is not listed as a benefit of the Rs 3,599 plan.
That makes the Rs 3,999 plan a higher-data annual option within Airtel’s prepaid portfolio. The extra Rs 400 over the Rs 3,599 recharge provides an additional 0.5GB of daily data as well as the current 150GB bonus offer.
Airtel Rs 3,999 vs Jio and Vi Annual Plans
Airtel is not the only operator offering a Rs 3,999 annual recharge. Jio also lists a Rs 3,999 plan with 365 days of validity, 2.5GB daily data and unlimited 5G. Jio’s annual plan also comes with additional bundled benefits that can vary with the current offer.
Vi has a Rs 3,999 annual plan as well. It offers 2GB of daily data, unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day, along with benefits such as unlimited night data, weekend data rollover, 2GB backup data, a one-year Amazon Prime Lite subscription and a one-year JioHotstar Mobile subscription.
The operators therefore take different approaches to their annual plans. Airtel is currently adding a large 150GB bulk-data benefit to its Rs 3,999 option, while Jio and Vi package their annual recharges with their own combinations of data, entertainment and other services.
What Airtel Users Should Know
The 150GB bonus is an additional promotional benefit, so users should check the exact offer displayed in the Airtel Thanks app or during recharge before purchasing. Airtel can modify or withdraw promotional benefits under its applicable terms.
For someone looking for a single annual recharge with a high daily data allowance, the Rs 3,999 plan now combines 365-day validity, 2.5GB daily data, unlimited calls, 100 SMS per day, unlimited 5G and 150GB of additional bulk data.
The offer also strengthens Airtel’s position in the increasingly competitive annual prepaid segment, where Jio and Vi continue to offer their own 365-day plans with different combinations of data and bundled services.
