Bharti Airtel has expanded the benefits of its family postpaid plans priced at Rs 999 and above by adding Apple’s expanded iCloud+ subscription. Eligible customers will get access to iCloud+ along with Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional cost, bringing cloud storage, streaming and gaming benefits under the same mobile plan.
Airtel iCloud+ offer is for postpaid users
The new benefit is available to Airtel customers on eligible family postpaid plans priced at Rs 999 and above. Airtel’s current terms identify Rs 999, Rs 1,199, Rs 1,399 and Rs 1,749 postpaid plans as eligible for the Apple TV offer, while the newly expanded Apple bundle is being added to the Rs 999-and-above family postpaid proposition.
This offer does not apply to Airtel prepaid customers. Eligible users can upgrade or manage their plans through the Airtel app or by visiting an Airtel store.
What Airtel customers get with iCloud+
The expanded iCloud+ subscription allows users to store, sync and back up photos, files, passwords, contacts and other personal information across compatible Apple devices. Apple has also expanded iCloud+ in India to include Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional cost.
Apple TV provides access to Apple’s original series, films and documentaries, while Apple Arcade offers a catalogue of more than 200 games without advertisements or in-app purchases. The services can therefore add entertainment and gaming benefits alongside the cloud-storage component of the Airtel plan.
Airtel Rs 999 family postpaid plan
Airtel’s Rs 999 family postpaid plan supports three family members and includes unlimited data with Fastlane technology, spam protection and entertainment benefits. With the Apple services added, the plan combines mobile connectivity with cloud storage, video streaming and gaming.
The inclusion of iCloud+ is particularly relevant for customers who use multiple Apple devices, as the service is designed around synchronising and backing up personal data across those devices.
Apple has changed the iCloud+ offering in India
Apple announced earlier in September that iCloud+ subscribers in India would receive Apple TV and Apple Arcade as part of their subscription at no additional cost. iCloud+ starts at Rs 75 per month for the 50GB plan when purchased directly from Apple in India.
Apple also said Apple TV and Apple Arcade would no longer be available as separate direct subscriptions for new subscribers in India following the expansion of iCloud+. Existing subscribers to those services will transition to the expanded iCloud+ arrangement.
Airtel adds another premium benefit to postpaid plans
The Apple bundle gives Airtel another digital-service component for its higher-value family postpaid customers. Rather than changing the core mobile benefits, the latest update adds cloud storage and Apple’s entertainment services to the existing connectivity package.
For Airtel users already considering a Rs 999 or higher family postpaid plan, the expanded Apple benefits add another service category to the overall package. Customers should check their Airtel app to confirm eligibility and activation requirements before subscribing or upgrading.
