The Vodafone Idea prepaid plan priced at Rs 181 is an additional 4G data voucher that can be purchased alongside an existing plan.

Vodafone Idea (Vi), one of India’s largest telecom operators, has quietly introduced a new prepaid plan for its customers. Priced at Rs 181, this plan is a 4G data voucher that can be purchased in addition to an existing base plan that includes voice calling, data, and SMS benefits. The plan is ideal for users who rely heavily on mobile data for activities like working from home or streaming videos online, as it provides additional data.

The newly launched Rs 181 Vodafone Idea prepaid plan is valid for 30 days and offers 1GB of daily data for the entire duration. Once the daily data limit is reached, it resets at the end of the day. However, this plan only provides a 4G data experience, as Vi has not yet launched 5G services. If you want to use 5G, you can explore the plans offered by Airtel and Jio.

Interestingly, Vi’s Rs 181 plan is identical to Airtel’s plan, which may not help Vi in its efforts to retain subscribers, as the company has been losing customers for 22 consecutive months. Vi is currently seeking funding to launch 5G services throughout India, and if the trend of subscriber loss continues, its active subscriber base may dip below 200 million in the near future.
