Airtel pioneered the provision of 5G services in the scenic valley, being the sole service provider to do so. The initial announcement in December 2022 covered Jammu and Srinagar, and the latest expansion has extended 5G coverage to four additional cities, bringing the total number of cities in Jammu and Kashmir with Airtel 5G services to 13.

Bharti Airtel, one of India’s leading telecom operators, has announced the launch of its 5G Plus services in four new cities of Jammu and Kashmir. The telecom giant is committed to bringing the latest technology to customers, and the launch of 5G Plus services in the region is a step in that direction.

The new 5G Plus services are now available in the cities of Srinagar, Anantnag, Baramulla, and Kishtwar. With this launch, Bharti Airtel has become the first telecom operator to offer 5G services in the region.

Speaking about the launch, Manu Sood, Hub CEO – Upper North, Bharti Airtel, said, “We are excited to launch our 5G Plus services in Jammu and Kashmir, which is an important market for us. With the launch of 5G Plus services in four new cities, we are taking a step forward in our commitment to bringing the latest technology to our customers. We believe that this technology will revolutionize the way people communicate and work, and we are thrilled to be the first telecom operator to offer 5G services in the region.”

Bharti Airtel’s 5G Plus services will offer customers faster download and upload speeds, low latency, and improved network stability. Customers will be able to enjoy high-quality video streaming, gaming, and other online activities seamlessly.

To use the 5G Plus services, customers will need to have a 5G-compatible smartphone and a 5G SIM card. Bharti Airtel is also offering a special 5G plan for its customers, which includes unlimited data, voice calls, and SMS.

With the launch of 5G Plus services in Jammu and Kashmir, Bharti Airtel has taken a big step towards bringing the latest technology to customers in the region. The telecom giant is committed to expanding its 5G services to other cities and regions in India in the coming months, as it continues to invest in the latest technology to improve the customer experience.
