LG Gram Laptop 2021 Price and Availability
The LG Gram 2021 lineup will be available for purchase in India with a starting price of Rs. 74,999. Precisely, the LG Gram 14 will arrive in a single Core i5 and 8GB RAM configuration at Rs. 74,999, while the LG Gram 16 will be available in two variants priced at Rs. 82,499 (Core i5, 8GB RAM) and Rs. 99,499 (Core i7, 16GB RAM). The LG Gram 17 will also be available in two configurations, priced at Rs. 85,999 (Core i5, 8GB RAM) and Rs. 1,06,999 (Core i7, 16GB RAM).
The laptops range will go on sale through both online and offline channels in the country. Amazon is already teasing the launch, along with a pre-booking offer under which customers would receive an Rs. 500 Amazon Pay cashback for booking the laptops in advance.
Initially, LG had unveiled its new Gram range of laptops at CES 2021 in January.
Specifications of LG Gram Laptop 2021
LG’s new range of Gram laptops comes in 17-inch, 16-inch, and 14-inch screen options with 16:10 aspect ratios. While the 17-inch and 16-inch models come with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels, the 14-inch models come with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels. In addition, they offer 99% DCI-P3 color space. The laptops have super-slim bezels all around and they come with a portable light-weight design. While the LG Gram 17 weighs 1.35 kg, the LG Gram 16 and Gram 14 laptops weigh 1.19 kg and 999 grams.
For processor compatibility, LG’s new Gram laptops come with support for the Intel Evo platform. These laptops are powered by 11th-Generation Intel Core processors and come with Iris Xe graphics that are set up with LPDDR4x memory. LG’s Gram models 17Z90P (17-inch model) and 16Z90P (16-inch model) are powered by 80Wh high-density batteries, which the company says will help ensure long-term use between charges.
For connectivity, all three models come with Thunderbolt 4 which can be used for transfer, charge, and display all at once. They are compatible with USB 4 ports. LG says that the keyboard and touchpad have also been enlarged for a faster and smoother typing experience. Furthermore, all the devices have SSD storage and come with MIL-STD-810G certification.
The LG Gram 17 (17Z90P) and Gram 16 (16Z90P) both have 80W batteries, but the Gram 14 (14Z90P) packs a 72Wh battery. In terms of weight, the 17-inch model weighs 1.35 kilograms, whereas the 16-inch and 14-inch versions weigh 1.19 kilograms and 999 grams, respectively. The laptops are also built with a MIL-STD-810G military standard build.
