Samsung Electronics is planning to unveil its latest foldable smartphone Galaxy Z Fold3, Galaxy Z Flip 3 next month with a low price tag. Samsung is expected to announce the release of both these smartphones along with other accessories on August 11. Galaxy Z Fold 3S can come with Pen-Pro support. The S Pen Pro’s support for the Z Fold 3 isn’t a big surprise as the company has been hinting at some kind of S Pen support for the foldable for a while now.

A recent report states that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will have an under-display camera. Its next clamshell foldable Galaxy Z Flip 3 is expected to sport a bigger outer display. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is expected to sport a larger 1.83-inch external display. It has a dual-camera system, which reportedly includes a 12MP main snapper and a 12MP ultra-wide snapper.

Having said this, Samsung launched Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 last year. The price of this smartphone is Rs 1,49,999. Talking about the feature, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 smartphone has a 7.6-inch Full HD + Foldable Dynamic AMOLED Infinity O display. Along with this, another 6.2-inch AMOLED screen has been given to the phone. Apart from this, the smartphone will get the support of an Octa-core Snapdragon 865+ processor and 12GB RAM. Also, it has a 4500mAh battery. At the same time, this phone works on the Android 10 based One UI 2.5 operating system.

The price of the Galaxy Z Flip3 is also likely to be around 22 percent lower than its predecessor which was being sold at 1.28 million won, reported Yonhap news agency. The clamshell foldable Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 is likely to have a bigger outer display compared to Galaxy Z Fold3. It is expected to have an external display of 1.83 inches. The smartphone will have a dual-camera set-up which would include a 12-megapixel primary lens and a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens.

The lowering of these prices is in line with the company’s goal to boost sales of its foldable smartphones and to gain an advantage over rival Apple who is expected to unveil new models later in 2021.
