Vivo has launched its latest set of S-series smartphones ; the Vivo S10 and Vivo S10 Pro in China. Here is everything you should know.
Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched the Vivo S10 series in the domestic market. Vivo S10 and Vivo S10 Pro smartphones have been launched under this series. Both the smartphones have a 4000mAh battery. Apart from this, a 64MP camera will be available in Vivo S10, while its upgraded version i.e. Vivo S10 Pro has a 108MP camera. Specifications of Vivo S10 Pro
Vivo S10 Pro smartphone has a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ resolution display. MediaTek Dimensity 1100 processor has been used in this smartphone. Apart from this, users will get the support of Android 11 based FunTouch OS 11.1 on the device. At the same time, this device has an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.
To do great photography, the company has given a triple rear camera setup in the Vivo S10 Pro smartphone, whose primary sensor is 108MP. While it has an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. Apart from this, a 44MP + 8MP camera will be available in the front of the phone for selfie and video calling.
Vivo S10 Pro smartphone is equipped with a 4,000mAh battery. Its battery supports 44W fast charging. Along with this, connectivity features like a dual SIM card slot, 5G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1 and USB Type-C port will be available in the device.
Features of Vivo S10
The dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo S10 runs on Android 11 with OriginOS 1.0 on top and features a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and HDR10+ support. Under the hood, there is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC, along with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup that comprises a 64-megapixel primary sensor with a 1.88 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. The camera setup is also paired with an LED flash module and supports up to 4K video recording.
Vivo has provided the dual selfie camera setup on the front of the S10 that consists of a 44-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter.
The Vivo S10 has up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. The phone also carries an in-display fingerprint sensor.
On the battery front, the Vivo S10 packs a 4,050mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. The phone measures 158.2×73.67×7.29mm and weighs 173 grams. The Gradient finish version, however, measures 158.2×73.67×7.43mm and weighs 175 grams.
Vivo S10 and Vivo S10 Pro Price
The Vivo S10 smartphone will be available in 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variants, whose prices are 2,799 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 32,300) and 2,999 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 35,000) respectively. On the other hand, its upgraded version i.e. Vivo S10 Pro has been priced at 3,399 Chinese Yuan (about Rs 39,000). 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant will be available at this price. At present, it is not known how long these two smartphones will be launched in the Indian market.
