    The sale of all models of Redmi Note 9 smartphone will start from July 24. The phone can be purchased from Mi.com and e-commerce website Amazon India.

    Xiaomi has launched its new budget smartphone Redmi Note 9 in India on Monday. Three models of the phone have been introduced in 4GB RAM 64GB storage, 6GB RAM 128GB storage, and 4GB RAM 128GB storage option. Redmi Note 9 has been launched in India as the latest affordable smartphone by Xiaomi. The new model is the third in the Redmi Note 9 series — after the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. The Redmi Note 9 comes with quad rear camera setup and features a hole-punch display design. The smartphone also has reverse charging support and as a successor to the Redmi Note 8, it packs a 25 percent larger battery that is touted to deliver up to two days of usage on a single charge. The Redmi Note 9 also offers up to 6GB RAM. Moreover, the phone is designed to take on the Samsung Galaxy A21s, Oppo A9 2020, and Vivo S1 Pro.

    The phone’s 4GB RAM and 64GB storage have been introduced for Rs 11,999. At the same time, 6GB RAM 128G storage variants have been offered for sale at Rs 14,999, while 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variants have been made available for Rs 13,999. The sale of all models of Redmi Note 9 smartphone will start from July 24. The phone can be purchased from Mi.com and e-commerce website Amazon India. Apart from this, the Redmi Note 9 smartphone will also be available for offline sales. The models of all these phones will be available for sale in Aqua Green, Pebble Gray, and Arctic White color options.

    What will be special?

    The Redmi Note 9 smartphone is similar to the rest of the phones in the Note series. A punch-hole display will be found on the top left corner of its front panel, a glass back panel will be found in the backside of the phone. The quad-camera setup will be available in the square shape on the back panel of the phone. To give power to the phone, a 5000mAh strong battery will be available, which will support reverse charging. This means that the wireless charging device can be charged from the phone.

    The Redmi Note 9 smartphone comes with a 6.53-inch full HD display, which will have a brighter 450 nits. Corning Gorilla Glass will be used to give protection to the phone. It will get splash-proof nano-coating. A total of 5 cameras will be available on the smartphone. Four cameras are provided on the rear panel while a camera setup is provided on the front panel. The rear panel of the phone will get a 48MP lens as the primary camera, while three other lenses will get an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 118-degree field of view, which comes with a 2MP microsensor and 2MP depth camera (autofocus).

    At the same time, the 13MP camera has been given as a front-facing camera. If you talk about performance, then Redmi Note 9 smartphone will get MediaTek Gaming Focused Helio G85 Octa-Core Processor. This phone will support 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone will get a 5020mAh battery for power backup, which will support 22.5W fast charger. The phone has been given a fingerprint sensor as another specification. Also, a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C charging support will be provided for connectivity.

    The smart device from Redmi comes with a 1216 linear speaker. It also has P2i hydrophobic nano-coating. Further, the phone includes a 5,020mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging (a compatible charger is available in the box). The battery also supports 9W reverse charging. Besides, the phone measures 162.3×77.2×8.9mm.
