After the announcement of the postpaid merger by Vodafone Idea Limited, Idea’s postpaid subscribers will now be able to benefit from the benefits of the Vodafone RED plan.

The telecom company Vodafone and Idea merged on August 31, 2018, almost two years ago, and the two giant companies in the telecom sector together formed Vodafone Idea Limited. But even after two years of this merger, many users were not able to get all the facilities on the same platform. But now Vodafone Idea has announced the completion of its postpaid consolidation. In such a situation, postpaid users of Idea can now be given Vodafone Red Plan service.

After the announcement of postpaid consolidation by the company, Idea’s postpaid subscribers will now be able to benefit from the benefits of the Vodafone Red Plan. Not only this but now customers will also be able to enjoy uniform customer service and better digital experience. With this move of the company, customers will get the experience of the self-service channel through IVR, USSD, My Vodafone App and website. In addition, they will also be able to make products, services, and payments through them.

Idea’s postpaid customers will no longer have to take separate onboarding and service experience. These customers will now be able to subscribe to the Vodafone Red Family. This will give them a single bill and access to Vodafone Play, premium content, and many other value-added services for the entire family. It means if the customers of both telecom companies will be able to take advantage of the same service.

Having said this, the Telecom Tribunal TDSAT has recently given great relief to Vodafone-Idea Ltd. The TDSAT has put an order on the Red X Premium plan of the Telecom Regulatory and Development Authority (TRAI) for not adding new customers of Vodafone-Idea. But TRAI is investigating the entire matter.

Vodafone Idea also highlighted that the transition from Idea Nirvana to Vodafone Red Plan would enable subscribers to receive timely notification and alerts for any over-usage. Customer service through Vodafone call centers is also touted to receive some improvements as the call center agents will be able to receive a 360-degree view on customer information, interactions, and service profiles. This simply means that Vodafone Red customers will be able to get the customer data of all Idea postpaid subscribers through the latest move.

Vodafone Idea announced the migration process for Idea postpaid subscribers earlier this year, though it was expected since the completion of the merger of Vodafone and Idea Cellular in 2018 that was announced back in March 2017. It came in place across a total of eight circles in May.
